Best chocolate ever
This is my go-to chocolate for the winter. There isn’t a better one to make hot chocolate than this one. Tasty and melts super easy. I like to order it during cold months as once I ordered in the summer - came half melted. But other than that one time, every delivery was great .

Best chocolate
I always use Callebaut chocolate, and I’m extremely happy with the quality. It’s consistently excellent. Desserts made with this chocolate are not overly sweet and have a rich, refined flavor that feels truly premium. You can really taste the difference when high-quality chocolate is used.

Stuck-Together Chocolate
I was disappointed with this chocolate. It was supposed to arrive as separate little pieces, but instead about half of them were melted and stuck together. It turned into one solid lump instead of neat individual pieces. The appearance was completely ruined, and this is not the quality I expected.

Made it to Central Texas in 100 degree weather
It made it here and it's not a solid lump or a puddle! Ordered this in mid September of 2019 to ship to central Texas; the location is relevant in that we are still experiencing daily temperatures in the 98-102F range and the package was on its way from the west coast for a few days and spent most of today on the truck for local delivery. Packaging: This was in retail style packaging with a cool velcro-like zipper style resealable bag. There's plenty of instructions on the bag for tempering and melting. It is not the clear plastic bag shown in earlier reviews and looks like the product image. Cooling packs - I have no doubt they helped but by the time the package got to me, they were near body temperature - there were 2; they were inside a thermal bubble wrap that was well taped along with the product. There was enough condensation inside that thermal bag that the printout/receipt was like it had been dropped in a puddle. This condensation didn't get inside the product bag (factory seals still good). Best by date on the bag is July 2020. So about 10 months; this is just fine. If you can't finish this in 10 months, you aren't chocolating right. Product itself: Some of the chips were impacted by the heat and had melted together. There were a few hunks that were about 1/3cup in size but most of these didn't break up with a little bit of hand pressure after the product had cooled back to room temperature. There was little choice but to take the ones that didn't breakup and put them in the sampling cup, safely next to this keyboard. Most of the chips were still separated or at worst stuck to a sister chip. Those pairs are safe. For now. The slight deformation appears to have had no impact on the taste or coloration. The chips themselves are relatively soft - harder than a JuniorMint, softer than a grocery store semisweet chocolate chip. A very smooth/velvet like consistency. The chips are a little under a half inch in diameter (a little bigger in diameter than nestle semisweet morsel size chip) but have a smooth dome top rather than a point. Think 'dress shirt button' and you'll be close to the size.
