Amazing looking steak knives, but some sheering may occur depending on kind of meat
Received these steak knives and was really impressed at the packaging and the way that they arrived. They also come with a good number of eight knives, so in case if you're having a dinner party over and you want to entertain folks with steaks, everyone is able to get a knife to carve their protein up.Let me tell you about a few of the things that I like about the steak knives first. They're very lightweight and they feel very well balanced. The serrated edges are also very sharp, and it also has a nice pointy sharp tip, so that way in case you encounter any tendons or any fat that need to be cut through, you're able to do so with the super pointy tip. In addition, they're very easy to manipulate in regards to their agility, because they're very well balanced. There isn't too much weight on the handle, or on the blade portion. They also look incredibly elegant, and I haven't noticed them getting dull or losing their sharpness after five times of use. They're also easy to clean, and I haven't noticed any rusting or any kind of blemishes developing on either the blade or handle portion. I haven't noticed any scuffing of the blade, and after 2 weeks of repeated use for either sandwiches or steaks, they still look gorgeous. However, there is one thing that I think most buyers out there should be aware about. I'm not sure if it's because of the serrated edge of the blade, but I have been noticing that when you're trying to cut through some particular steaks such as the one seen in one of the pictures I provided, the blade gets caught in the fibers of the steak and instead of cutting through it, it actually shears off the meat. I'm not sure if this is by design, or user error. But, I've been eating steaks my whole life, so I don't think it might be user error - but I am open to the idea. This is something that I've noticed on numerous cuts of meat, and the one that you see is a very thinly sliced piece of top round steak, and even though the knives cut through it fairly well, I did notice that there was a bit of shearing going on instead of actual cutting. When used on other types of meats such as T-Bone or short rib, I didn't really see the shearing effect come into play. I'm wondering if these serrated edges might be cut of meat specific, but it's definitely something that I didn't notice when it came to cutting sandwiches or homemade cheeseburger sandwiches (as shown in one of the photos). It actually cut really well, and it didn't really encounter any problems such as shearing of bread or meat, and they actually performed very well.Because of this, I rate these knives four out of five stars. Primarily because they're nice and sharp, they're aesthetic look is outstanding, they’re incredibly well balanced, and they're able to cut through sandwiches or T-Bones steaks incredibly well. I make these knives a recommended buy for others, and they can be given as a gift for events such as a wedding or birthday gift, for that steak aficionado in your life.

It will cut
I mean these are knives. They do seem above average quality, especially from anything you can find at your local big box store. I have used them a few times now and they cut gloriously. I usually don't throw these in the washer, but hand wash and so far they have no imperfections and still cut nice after multiple uses. Awesome

Classy, and Fancy, don't cut noticeably better than my cheapish ones.
These knives are very fancy and high class looking, and come in a very fancy presentation box (that does look to be made from cardboard...) They would make a nice gift for a fancy occasion like a wedding or housewarming. However they don't seem to do a significantly better job than my much less fancy steak knives that look like the under $20 listings, so somewhat hard to justify if all you want them for is eating...They are comfortable, and look very high end. They have a nice heft to them, but are not as heavy as you might think looking at those massive handles. They are sharp and did a good job of cutting all the things I've tried them on. They have sharp tips that make them nicer to use than some of the 'butter-knife' round end knives that seem to be the fashion in a lot of restaurants these days. However the wide blade does make them less than ideal for doing curving / delicate cuts.I've done one run through the dishwasher with one of them. and it came out fine. No telling how the finish and edge will hold up over time, but right now they are nice and sharp...

Solid, Heavy and Sharp Knife Set
I like my steak knives to feel solid and heavy when I’m cutting my food. These certainly meet that requirement. The solid, one piece, stainless steel construction is also very attractive. It’s a set I feel good about having on the table when we have dinner parties. Guests have commented on how nice and distinctive looking they are and how good they feel in their hands. The blades are also quite sharp. But, I did notice that, when I was cutting a chicken breast, the meat tore a little bit when I was cutting near the tip of the blade. But the part of the blade near the handle cut through with ease.I really like this set. I’m giving them four stars because of the tearing issue, and my set of Cutco knives cut a little bit cleaner. But the Cutco knives are also far more expensive. These definitely cut, look, and feel better in my hand than some other knife sets I have.If you are looking for a good, large set of steak knives at a reasonable price, I think these are a good choice.
