Brand New Album Review: Great Vinyl, Great Band, Great Songs - Really like the sea blue vinyl on this. It looks great. The packaging is really great and big fan of the cover art. Love the music on this and Emily's debut into Linkin Park. Stained, Over Each Other, Good Things Go and The Emptiness Machine are probably my top tier choices on this album, but the whole thing is great. Review: A+++ - My favourite band. Long waited return . Class album. Arrived well packed in perfect condition.

Mike Shinoda - we salute you! Linkin Park are back!!
Would there be a Linkin Park after the devastatingly sad demise of Chester, is probably what every fan wondered. I had the privilege & joy to see Chester & Linkin Park live on 3rd July 2017, and Chester sadly passed a few weeks later on the 20th. So happy for 'the bliss of rock' to say that the show does go on - very well. I have seen the new line up live and they are fantastic. Mike Shinoda has preserved the soul of their music and the band delivers with a fantastic new line up. Emily Armstrong is great and does Chester absolute justice and can hit the notes (& more) effortlessly. Not all replacement singers can deliver with the same skill & passion (just look at Queen's pathetic post-Freddy choices) but the 'new' Linkin Park, and this their first album, are back in business. Those of us around when Hybrid Theory & Meteora came out will enjoy this album too.

Arrived quickly
There's one or two good songs on here but they rest aren't really good, doesn't compare to all the old albums. Good seller though and arrived quickly

Great Comeback from a Nu-Metal Pioneer
To provide some baseline context, I was a huge fan of Linkin Park when they burst onto the scene back in the early noughties with Hybrid Theory. I was a voracious consumer of their material, including seeing them live. Their latter material was a bit hit-and-miss and of course, their material ended abruptly with the untimely and tragic passing of Chester. So it was a welcome and exciting surprise to hear of their "comeback" album (somewhat under the radar for me) with a new female singer, in Emily Armstrong. So. . .what did I think of this album? In a word, excellent. I was nervous listening to it the first time given the raw power Chester brought to each song. Does Emily try and replace Chester? Yes and no. She can certainly scream, and she has that raw power, but there are differences. This is a hybrid - harmonious blending of the new and the old Linkin Park. It has elements of Hybrid Theory, Minutes to Midnight and the Hunting Party rolled into one tight, taught and trim album (total run time is a little over 30 minutes) Highlights for me are 'The Emptiness Machine,' 'Overflow' and 'Two Faced.' The only criticism I could level at this is that on Linkin Park albums passed, the last song tends to be a showstopper. . .slightly disappointed with the outgoing song on this album. But that is a minor criticism on what is otherwise a well-rounded and positively impactful return to form.

Superb comeback from the kings of nu-metal
Having listened to LP since the Hybrid Theory days, I was thrilled to hear they were back after Chester’s tragic passing. Listening to each of 4 singles (Emptiness Machine, Heavy is the Crown, Over Each Other, Two Faced) before the album released, I knew the album was going to live up to the hype. The released songs really showcase the newer lineup but never take away from what was there before in their music. The songs each inhibit their own style and draw on all genres of LP and what make this band so great. While Chester can never be replaced, Emily more than takes up the co lead singer role while paying respect to Chester. Shinoda is superb as always along with rest of the band signature sounds (new drummer Colin fills in well for Rob). I’ve listened many times all the way through the album with Cut the Bridge, Overflow, Stained particularly all favourites with pure rock and electronic experimental side of the band. Casualty and IGYEIH are the heavy songs which throw back to Chester’s irreplaceable vocals. Album closer Good Things Go is a great end. Highly recommend and welcome back to one of the best bands.

GREAT cd. Their new singer - Emily Armstrong - has an AMAZING voice! We saw them live at their 2025 PDX show. I was super annoyed that the selling page claims "2-Day Shipping" when in fact it's absolutely NOT. Make sure and read the actual delivery date on the payment page - Mine took 7 days 🙄

A solid return from one of my favourite bands after the tragic loss of Chester Bennington. The new vocalist Sarah Armstrong is a welcome addition to the band, she can scream, she can duet with Mike Shinoda and she brings some excellent vocal chops to the band. These guys are way too talented to sit back on their success. My only beef is this LP comes in at 32 minutes, that's short. Regardless, it's pretty great from start to finish. BTW, if you put it on repeat, the end of the final track syncs up with the start of the first track making it sound like a loop, pretty cool. Can't wait to see them on tour, yes, that's a thing again!
