Allen's Strawberries & Cream 190g

I love these. A delicious blend of strawberry and cream.

I wrote 1 star review and it was not posted... Someone is filtering negative reviews? In a nut shell, very disappointing, will not buy again. BE Aware !!! IT IS A NON RETURNABLE ITEM (Food item) Candy is bland and stale. The bag is very small; for $10, I was expecting a bigger bag. Should have more detail about the count of pieces to get an idea of what we are buying and avoid disappointment. The picture is misleading; it does not give an idea of size; the bag is rather small. Yes, it has a weight, but that is irrelevant if candy is light (100 grams); it could be 100 pieces of candy, but if candy is dense, 100 grams could be 10 pieces. For example, Angel cake vs. fruit cake... how much cake do you get out of 1 lb of each cake?

Always arrive on time, not out of date and overall great purchase. I buy them once a month as a treat!

I bought these a few times the first couple times they were good. The second last time I bought them they were extremely hard and stale tasting. I thought maybe it was just a one off thing so I ordered them again and yet again they are stale and hard will not order again.

Arrived fast and the lollies were excellent and soft. With international shipping taken into account, the price of these at $9.50 was still price gouging, but can you put a price on happiness? I certainly won’t be buying these often, but every now and then when I am missing food from home, it’s worth it.

The price I did disliked

I actually heard about these from a Dancing With The Stars rehearsal video featuring Australian Kym Johnson. She mentioned them once as her favorite candy but said they weren't available in the U.S. Being that I love chewy candy and strawberries and cream, I wanted to try them. I came to amazon and there they were, available from a U.S. based seller! They are delicious! They aren't overly sweet. They have that strawberry flavor on the top layer, above a creamy base. They are soft, but a little tougher consistency than, say, gummy bears. I've already ordered them several times. I see that Allen's also makes a peaches & cream version. Going to try that, too!

Very tasty! Curtis on CEE is right. These are yummy. They were fresh and chewy.

I think they must’ve been good. Coz I found no evidence of them at all at home… The ‘Mouse’s’ at home must have devoured them!

On long drives I would have these in the car to munch on. They are delicious. Shame there aren’t more of these products readily available here.
