Working nicely with my Oculus Rift
Using this to help power my Oculus Rift, no issues so far!

Great Product
Couldn't ask for anything better.Works with my external hard drive and Pine64Used it to create media server with openmediavault.

4-port hub PSU is 12V/1.5A
I am slightly disappointed that the 4-port hub version actually comes with (and can only support) a 12V/1.5A PSU instead of the advertised 12V/2A, hence the 4 stars.To be fair, I bought this hub to use it with 4 external 2.5" spinning drives and for the little testing I have done the power is enough.The drives can all spin up at the same time and I can read from all of them at the same time. But I still have to stress the hub with a more realistic read/write workload.There is also the caveat that only 2 drives are USB3.0 while the other two are USB 2.0. I am not sure if the power would be enough for 4 USB3.0 spinning drives. Theoretically it is: 12V/1.5A = 18W = 5V/3.6A = 0.9A per port. 0.9A per port is the maximum that a USB 3.0 port should provide and the maximum that USB 3.0 compliant device should draw. Each port however also claims to support for Apple 1A/2A charging and USB BC 1.2 (usually 2.4A) so the extra juice would have been nice.

Value for money
So far a reasonable product, the one thing that could be improved is the length of the usb cable to attached hub to a pc. Ideally it should be 2 metres to allow connection to a desktop stored under the desk.

Works with head units
I purchased this because it uses 12 volt supply. I have fitted it to car head unit and works perfectly. Not an ideal shape for car and don’t need switches but that’s not a complaint as it works perfectly.

Reasonably effective usb hub.
Works OK but some things may not function. My Epson flatbed scanner will not work with this hub.

Highly recommended.
It 's very convenient, one charging plug for multiple electronic types of equipment to be charged, save lots of space. Make charging area look organized. Fast charging, save times. Highly recommended.

Exactly as described
My only negative point is that the port covers are a bit redundant and get in the way - otherwise works great
