The setup is very easy like most wi-fi camera on the market. Originally I want to put it on the side of the house, but the angle is kind of awkward anywhere I put it (too close and not covering enough angle of the side of the house). But it works great when I put it on a tree in my back yard. Its wi-fi connection is great. Microphone is also very clear and sensitive (hear lot of bugs, lol). The alert feature is also good. Sensitive enough to detet anyone who came close, though resolution is not great. But that's what you would expect in the price range. The solar -panel supported battery is also good that last through the night. We will see how long before the battery couldn't hold the charges in a few years (hopefully).So far, a very good investment. Very satisfy with the purchase.

I have a good variety of camera equipment that I’ve used on my home. This is one of the easiest to put up and use!No power cord to run. Which is great for being able to really put it anywhere. I put mine in my backyard on my house. I did purposely choose a spot that gets good sun, since the solar panel is fixed, you can’t angle it or anything. So that’s maybe a small “con” but the panel is big and absorbs plenty of energy. The camera battery is always seemingly at 100%. So I am not sure if I get THAT good of sun in this spot or the solar panel on this thing is just that good. Either way, it works great.The picture, whether day or night, is great! The picture I posted here doesn’t show anything in my back yard, but on an over cast day, where it’s pretty grim looking out, the clarity and color looked really good.Highly recommend it. You can’t go wrong for the price. You can pop in a card for local storage or you’ve got your cloud of course.You could really even mount this up high like above a garage and it would make a great security cam there too.It’s versatile, relatively cheap, and works great! The app is easy to use too.If you’re on the fence, just go for it!

Easy set up as long as you have the app great for the price camera functions real well only thing I could say it’s a fixed camera so wherever you mount it, it’s gonna be pointing in that direction. There’s no pan and scan as far as the solar bill goes, it’s great for a low traffic area And high traffic areas where it’s being set off constantly. It does drain the battery and it does not keep up. You will have to plug it in if you’re gonna put in a high traffic area but low in frequent areas they hold up pretty well overhaul. They great for the price. I have several cameras in this category and they all work great for my needs.

I love easy setup, many options to control and sd slot.. but i feel the camera has limited views when placed on wall. Feedback if camera lens could be moved by hand left or right alittle. Would help see bettee position on a porch!!! That is my 4 star take away.. see pic.

It is a good product. I personally do not like the hassle of wires. So i like solar security cameras. So i purchased this. It does what its designed to do. A lot of features, i have quite not been able to figure out how to optimally do it, so that it does not have notifications completely turned off or be on all the time. But it satisfies its intended function. I do have to charge it once in a while. although we get a lot of sunlight during the day. Somehow it does not maintain charge. I had some issues with charging and worked with Lily. She was helpful in resolving it. Again, my use case was to just monitor my backyard. If its more of a high demand security scenario maybe i'd hesitate but for my use case it works.

This outdoor solar wall light camera has all the good features plus the large light on the front and available siren gives you a choice to scare off undesirables, or if your in the backyard greet friends with the two way communications because the motion detection sends an alert to your phone. If you want to record I use a TF card or cloud storage is an option. Camera is waterproof has no wires solar charging and a few clicks your all setup, you can change many of the parameters to have the system set to your preferences. This is the first stationary camera I've bought but field of vision and picture are great even has color at night when the light comes on. Great inexpensive unit get yourself one.
