Great product, as advertised.Cell service is as low as $8 per month, so you need to manage those according to budget (I'll activate a low-cost plan during routine scouting, and add plans as I deploy more cameras. Upgrade plans to include live video as needed if I need more detailed imaging.)The PRO versions of this include higher resolution and video options, if you need something more than FHD 1080P.This camera comes with Straps, but you may need the separate camera angle bracket, and possibly a security lock cable or lockbox.Power is also an issue with these:Each camera uses 16 AA batteries for maybe 2 weeks. Amazon case of 32 alkaline is $22. Cost to run 1 camera for 8 weeks/ 2 months = $44. You will probably want Power Packs.The 3550 Solar Pack is about $57. Self-Recharging, will not charge the in-camera battery.The 3550 Power Pack is about $46. You will probably want spares (2 in cameras, 2 you charge at home and swap out)The 6700 Power Pack is about $100. Same issue with swap-out spares.My plan is to use Solar where ever I can, and to have a few pairs of 3550 packs to swap out every 2 weeks for the cameras in the full-shade areas. I'm also on public land, so the lock cables are also needed.

The battery compartment is very hard to get out but the camera works well. The Moultrie customer service group is top notch.

Would not recommend. They're so hyper-sensitive, even on lowest sensitivity setting, I've reviewed about 3,000 photos with only 1 of animals! I clear branches, trees... or anything close, so they don't get triggered easy by wind. I own 6 other game cameras which all work much better. There's no sd card, or usb plug, so you cannot download photos easy, you must review photos, one at a time, then save to computer. The only way to use these is with Moultrie mobile app for minimum $10/camera/month. And the cell reception is very weak so I cannot use in the timber where animals are. Night photos very, very grainy, useless. Also, temperature shown is not accurate at all. Called Moultrie about replacement and they said they'd text me a security code before they could help me, and never received it, conveniently.

We own five of these Edge system cameras and have them placed at various locations about 400 miles away. They all do a great job! The Edge 2 is a slight upgrade due to a few new features. One includes an On Demand feature for both photo and video...a very useful feature. However, you absolutely need to make sure that the EDGE 2 camera DOES NOT have any item or vegetation anywhere near the 90 foot range that could move or 'twitch' because even on its LOWEST sensitivity setting, this camera will fire off hundreds of photos a day. I have two of these Edge 2 cameras and the rest are just the original Edge cameras. My two Edge 2 cameras are regularly burning through photos by the minute (I need to adjust what is in front of them...even extremely small items like tall grass in the distance).Soooo....a long way of saying....The Edge 2 camera has some really great features. You need to set it in a perfect location with absolutely NOTHING in front of it that can slightly move in the wind. The On Demand feature is great but the lowest sensitivity setting is still not close to enough. The original Edge cameras had and have none of these issues but also do not offer an On Demand feature.If you set the camera up so that NOTHING is in front of it that can move, you should be perfect. It is a very solid product with Moultrie's incredible customer service.I would recommend this product.

Great value for the money. We use solar panels and rechargeable packs as batteries get expensive fast. We use them all over our hunting property for security purposes and enjoying the variety of wildlife we did not realize we had.We have 16 working continuously.

For the price it’s not a bad camera. They don’t seem to last as long as non-cellular style cameras.
