Reer Leon Wooden Stair Gate + Safety Lock 64.5 - 106 cm - Collection 2015

This is a good enough product, but is grossly overpriced. Where is the safety lock mentioned in the advertising? The gate simply fits into a top and bottom slot and is lifted out of these to swing open on hinges - there is no actual locking mechanism.

Purchased this a while back in summer July 2019 for when my granddaughter came to stay and it came with the tools to assemble. Brilliant solid, wooden, fixed safety gate fixed at the top of my 1980s open, slatted, wooden stairs, even though it does require screwing into the woodwork. Love it because there was no danger of gate collapsing and there is flexibility on the width. Well worth the money even with some tweaking - just for peace of mind. When I received the gate, it looked just as good as the promotional photos on the website.

Fiddly to install, quality of the wood not so good. Definitely wouldn’t pay full price for it. We got ours for a little over £10 for an open box one, but it was certainly used and the catch that holds the gate shut was missing. I’ll be sure to count all the pieces next time!Amazon are good with returns though.Slightly annoyed at the time wasted on it as we do need a stair gate. Won’t be getting another one of these, instructions were awful and didn’t make any sense. We ended up winging it and comparing it to the cuddl stair gate we have downstairs. Would have been very difficult otherwise. Wall plugs were useless and we ended up using our own. I’m shopping round for another extendable gate but won’t be getting this brand again.

Nice quality, easy to fit and is very sturdy. The opening is easy and can be done one handed. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Not the best of baby gates to be honest. Does a job but is pretty flimsy and you need to keep tightening up the nuts as they become loose after every time you open and close the gate. Wish I paid a little extra for a better one. Wouldn’t really recommend

I was really disappointed, this natural wood, but not vanish like on display pictures.

This gate was really nice and sturdy, the instrument were, for me, almost incomplete, to the point where I have not been able to install it.
