When the battery dies there’s no replacing it.. it works ok… the downside is it only updates every so many mins.. so if you’re actively trying to find something stolen or missing you may have to wait till it’s not moving and if they don’t take it somewhere where it doesn’t have service.. because then you just lost the item… I really liked the AirTags but since they went to notifying people when they’re around it, that kind defeats the purpose for antitheft device… I wi be seeking something different other than Tile or AirTags…

Title: Extremely frustrating setup and disappointing performance Review: This Tile has been one of the most frustrating devices I've ever tried to set up. The app demands every permission imaginable-GPS, Bluetooth, physical activity, precise location- and if you don't grant them all, it simply won't work. This drains the phone's battery and makes the whole system pointless. On top of that, the Tile only tells you that your item is "nearby," but it doesn't guide you in any real direction. It's almost impossible to find something inside your own home. Maybe it helps if you forget things somewhere else, but for indoor use it's nearly useless. Customer support is poor and unhelpful. Amazon, as always, 10/10, but the product itself is extremely disappointing. I don't recommend it unless you have plenty of free time and patience to figure out a confusing and unintuitive system.

Supposedly these help you track your stolen items. What the manufacturer DOESN'T tell you, is that this is only true if your thief decides to befriend you and invite you over on his way out....considering these ONLY work within range of your phone. Bummer. So, when it's in range of your phone, it should be super accurate in locating your lost item, right? Nope! It basically just tells you your item is within the same 50 foot radius. So if you really need a device that provides you with a simple "yes/no - is my lost or stolen item within 50 feet of me?", then this is PERFECT for you! What is the point? Please save your money and purchase a rock, as they make a better paperweight. In the process of returning all 6 packs that I purchased for my instruments.

you cannot rely on the app or device. it worked for day, and then the next day it couldnt find my tile. i was looking for my wallet {with my tile in it}- but then i stopped myself and pulled up the app! i mean, thats why i bought it, right? but the app couldnt find the tile. if you google this you'll see its a common issue {"your tile is nearby hold on a few seconds while we connect"}. so, i had to RESTART my phone, disable and then enable bluetooth, restart the app- and THEN it found the tile. how convenient!! ::eye roll:::: what kind of design flaw is this? it defeats the entire purpose of having it. you're better off just making your own. get a legit gps tracker. these tiles are silly. cheap childrens toys. you cannot rely on the app and device- thats the lesson learned.

Downloaded a forged Tile app from Google Play store. You would think Google would police forged apps, but obviously not. Hijacked my home screen and tried to bind me to a $34.99 per month streaming app. Once I got the real Tile app it forced me into Allow All the Time or else the app and fob won't work well together. Constant upsell pressure in the app. Real intent is track and monetize your location and /or data. Very useful for intended purpose, but you sell your soul to find your keys. Symptomatic of the world we live in today. Everybody is tracking you.

I bought this in late September and then I thought in mid-november. I had lost it down the road while running but it turns out it had been sitting behind a book on my shelf and just run out of battery a month and a half after purchase. Waste of money. Absolute garbage product. Zero customer support.

Works off of your phones Bluetooth. The Tile needs to be connected at all times to your phone so it can track your (and the Tiles) location. As soon as your Tile gets out of your phones Bluetooth range (30 feet), it marks that as the last known location of the Tile. I'm not sure how that helps you find anyting! Certainly not a pet who would be on the move. I'm not even sure how it would work with a set of keys unless you always have them with your phone and your keys got seperated from you phone. If I've got this wrong, maybe someone can clarify, but from everything I've read and a few experiments around the house, this is how the Tile works.

Does not work. This is the second product I have replaced in less than a year. I had my first Tile for nearly two and a half years and it worked great so when I bought my second and it didn’t work I thought it was a fluke so I replaced it again. I don’t know what has gone wrong with this product/company but it only works maybe 20 percent of the time and on the rate occasion that it actually connects to my phone it doesn’t always make a noise. I bought this product because I frequently misplace my phone and keys but even when they are right next to each other they refuse to connect. I am very disappointed in this product and I will never buy it again.

Lepiej kupić chiński (posiadam taki), który wykorzystuje całą społeczność Androida za 1/3 wartości tile mate. Jak mam cokolwiek śledzić lub znaleźć skoro cała idea jest oparta tylko o społeczność Tile. Produkt nadaje się tylko do zwrotu.
