Solid Quality Ballet Bar - best for one person use
For an item like this that will be used daily, with body weight, legs, and arms being strewn on it, this ballet bar is well-made and of excellent quality.Keep in mind the bar is 3 ft (one yard), so it's good for personal use, not just in a studio. plus - the density and weight of the bar itself will require a solid installation. once mounted, the anchors allow for the angle of the bar to be adjusted. This helps us a lot seeing four out of seven people in our family are dancers (the position adjusts to the height of everyone using it).The finish of the barre itself prevents splinters or injuries, including the ends, which have a nice round smooth end. Definitely a must if you like to dance or even stretch/tone your legs after a workout. Great bar!

Amazing quality!
This ballet bar looks and functions great. In a way, there are really only three height settings, since in my opinion, the bar isn't really usable when it is all the way up or all the way down, the bar is too close to the wall. You can get your heel on it, but it is small. I suppose if you added spacers between the bracket and the wally, then you could use it in all five positions. The three positions in the middle give about 8.5 inches of adjustment between them. If you can use all five positions the adjustment is about 13.5 inches between highest and lowest.The hardware is very strong and well made. The bar looks and feels very nice. The length is not adjustable because the ends of the bar are tapered down to fit into the end pieces. The hardware is spaced 32 inches apart which should fit a typical stud layout and should allow installation directly into the studs in most situations. We are very happy with this bar.

Nice Barre Bar
This is a nice, solid wood barre bar that is height adjustable, it just wasn't height adjustable enough for me nor could it handle some of the full body weight lift exercises I perform. I ended up getting a freestanding barre bar and I put this one in my daughter's room. It is much better suited for her use.
