DC Converter Buck Module 12V convert to 5V USB Output Power Adapter

Perfect for what I needed. At the point of writing this review I have bought two, about to buy a third.I have used these in my cars and projects in the house. Easy to install and made from good quality material.

I used this to hardwire my dashcam in my car, no problems and works fine. One of the fixing lugs was broken off but I didn't want to use them so no matter.Amazon wants to know if it was easy to install - yes.Amazon asks about value for money - yes, good.Amazon asks about sheerness - I thought that was a town in Kent. I don't see how it relates to a DC converter.

Added this to a 12v rail in my car to allow for USB power to be connected to a dashcam.Easily to install and is compact enough to be hidden away inside the trim. I added crimped some spade connectors to the end so it could be connected to an unused terminal connector in the car but you could just as easily use a choc block or solder and heat shrink.My only slight gripe is that the input wires are quite thin gauge, but you get what you pay for and all in all I would say this is good value. The inclusion of a USB A head on the end makes life easier if you have a USB peripheral.

It works. But I return it. It’s not suppressed at all and knocks out the FM reception for the radio.

With the correct 3a USB cable this device is fantastic for my needs!

Gave up the ghost after less than a day of use

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. No more dash-cam cable hanging down from the top of the windscreen to the 12v socket :-)
