Highly recommend to get it
I just received this and im happy with it. I was juat abt to go out and purchase a $40+ tea kettle then i seen this one for this and its perfect. I lvoe it. Very nice and would so get anothrr one

What I expected.
The quality of this pot is good. There were no physical imperfections after washing it a few times. It boils water, it whistles, and it pours. That's about all I am looking for.

I prefer the kettle I had before my boyfriend broke it, and it would have been nice if, in order to replace that kettle after having put it in a precarious spot from which it broke, my roommate replaced the exact one or got me a le ceruset or whatever it's called like I asked, but this one is fine. I will replace it eventually because I like fine material home goods produced by the excesses of late stage capitalism and this kettle is like... not bad. I could get it at a pretty low tier store, and they probably don't even sell it at bed bath and beyond. But uh... I have tea. So there's that.

Great Pot
This is a good tea pot. I bought it because i would never use the microwave to heat water. Perfect pot for my needs.

This product is JUNK!
The handle broke after less than one month of use. This never left our stovetop and maybe twice a week for three weeks we carefully used it. The handle broke when full of boiling water and it fell to the floor causing a big HOT MESS. Not worth it, spend a little more or buy a different brand.

Nice teapot but.....
My girlfriend decided she wanted a teapot so she can make tea in the evening. She has been watching a lot of British TV lately. Anyway.....she picked out a few teapots then decided on this one.. The color was nice and the price was good. The only drawback....it doesn't whistle! One evening shortly after receiving this, she filled the pot and went to watch TV. I went into the kitchen about half an hour later to find the kitchen noticeably warmer. The pot had been boiling but.....no whistle. If you are ok with no whistle, then this is a good teapot.
