No more bad odor!
I finally bit the bullet and bought this kit after months of a musty, moldy smell hitting me every time I turned on the AC, especially in the humid weather. The smell was getting pretty gross, honestly. The process itself was a bit of a pain because you have to get under the car to find the AC drain tube, which isn't the easiest thing to reach. But once I got the little hose adaptor in there and started spraying the foam, the instructions were straightforward. I was actually kind of amazed (and disgusted!) by the dark, brown junk that drained out it really showed how much buildup was in there. After letting it all drain and then running the second can of refresher spray through the vents as directed, the difference was huge. The musty smell is completely gone and replaced with a clean, somewhat strong industrial scent at first, but that fades after a day or two. It's been a few months now, and the air still smells fresh. It's not a permanent fix some people say you have to do it annually but it definitely works well for clearing out the immediate problem. It's a solid DIY job that saves you a ton compared to what the dealership charges for the same service. I'd highly recommend it if you're dealing with a nasty AC odor."

Perfect To Clean Out My AC EVAPORATOR.
I was amazed how well this product was able to clean and disinfect my AC evaporator. The amount of junk that came out was disgusting and I am glad I purchased this product. At first the cleaning solution left a nice yet strong odor in my car, which I left in the garage over night with the windows down to allow it to vent out. It's been 4 months now and when I use my AC, there is still a nice smell inside the cabin. This product is well worth the price. Highly recommended.

Really effective
So this product is intended to be used by someone qualified to service the evaporator in your car. After 1 week the smell from my evaporator is gone. It works well. The only issue that I had was that it does not come with the fitting to plug off the evaporator with the initial foam spray. I used mine from the mitt vac but if included with the kit would be a 5/5

Works
Worked on my Tundra, at first I was weirded out because it initially made it smell worse, but after about a week for it to dry out, it’s nice and fresh.

Works
Used for my 2013 FJ Cruiser. Did not have a bad smell coming from my vents but did it as part of a diy maintenance. The smell of this is strong but quickly vented out after 1-2 days. Smells fresh and peace of mind for me knowing I did this on my 12 year old vehicle. Liquid that drained from this treatment was like iced tea brown so I’m glad I did this. Will be adding this to my diy maintenance once a year.

Works wonders on your smelly AC system
I recently used this on my 2000 Camry and it worked like a charm. There are videos you can watch online that explain the process used for your model of car, they are likely all similar except for how the AC/fan controls are set. For mine, I placed the end of the core cleaner hose into my evaporator drain hose and dispensed half the can, waited 10 minutes then allowed it to drain for 10 minutes before repeating a second time (bottle completed empty). For the cabin refresh, crack your interior windows to allow the cleaner smell to dissipate from your interior during the treatment. It is recommended you turn your AC on, select outside air (not recirculate), turn the heat on and choose passenger air flow (the symbol looks like air blowing at the passenger's head) and dispense the product into your cabin/blower motor's intake for 45 seconds. You then keep the same settings but instead change the air flow to the floor vents and dispense for 45 seconds again. My bottle ran out at about 30 seconds so I continued the treatment using Lysol (which is commonly used by others as a DIY way of doing this). I then dispensed the Lysol again for 45 seconds on the defrost air flow setting. Afterwards, I left my car running for about 10 minutes to continue running air through the system with the AC turned off to dry things out. Afterwards, your car will smell like there's a really strong air freshner inside it, especially when running the fan. TO KEEP IT SMELLING FRESH LIKE THIS, RUN YOUR FAN ONLY (NO A/C) FOR 10 MINUTES AFTER RUNNING YOUR A/C BEFORE SHUTTING YOUR CAR OFF. This drys the system out and prevents the ickies from growing in your system in the first place :) I'd buy the kit again, although now that I have the dispenser line from the evaporator core cleaner, I would probably just buy a bottle of core cleaner for this and use Lysol in the cabin blower intake. Cheers!

Didn’t work for me on first try, but could possibly work for you
My truck was not equipped with a cabin air filter, so eventually the evaporator coil got a buildup of gunk over the 20+ years I’ve had it. Over the past few years I began to smell an odor like mold/mildew. I read a few online forums that explained what was happening and realized I was making things worse (at first). Basically, I kept my AC on recirculate because I thought it took the cold air in vehicle and made it colder… Well yes, and no. Yes, its designed to aid in cooling the vehicle faster, but not to be used in that mode continuously. Because I kept the recirculate button on the condensation didn’t have a way to dry out. That moisture mixed with the accumulation of debris on the evaporator coil caused a toxic hazard area inside my dashboard… Needless to say I replaced all of the effected parts and then applied the AC clean again and it worked as described. Note: Turn off the recirculating feature after vehicle gets to the desired temperature, and ALWAYS turn it off several minutes prior to turning the vehicle off to prevent those stinky odors from accumulating in the first place.

Smell is gone
i bought a car for my daughter as a new driver. After they filled the air conditioner, a horrible smell occurred and lingered. After it being investigated by a garage who stated they would sell the car. The dealer who found nothing wrong. I investigated online and found a common issue with water being trapped causing mold and smell in the evaporator. I bought this product and followed online instructions. It was easy, showed LOTS of nasty stuff come from the cleaning. It has been months and no return of the smell, Worth every penny!

The refresh kit worked great. Removed some very harsh looking stuff from the evaporator. Will use this product every summer. AC smells much better after using this product.

Amazing stuff! Worth every dollar! Used this on my mom's car that was really bad and smelt horrible with the blower on that I couldn't use it with out having an asthma attack due to mold an mildew smell. ( My fault due to how much I use the AC without drying it out after each use ) Extremely easy to use. Direction say to insert the nozzle into the AC drain under the Vehicle. My choice I executed was snaking the hose straight in and down the front center [Face] Vents above the radio in the center to target the top of the HVAC cluster stack behind the dash. Letting gravity take the foam all thru the system and drain out the bottom. [ONLY PERFORM THIS WAY IF YOUR AC DRAIN IS NOT PLUGGED UNDER VEHICLE] For my vehicle from top to bottom in the stack goes the Blower Actuator's, Evaporator Core, Heater Core then drip pan and Drain. Used the entire can successfully and excess foam dripped out under the car. Let sit with window open for an hour. Started up and ran vehicle with blower on full and could not believe how clean and fresh it smelt! I was so happy! Was worried about how it would smell but was please to see that is just smells like a mix between Windex and brake cleaner and does not affect my asthma. I bought two kits and am excited to use the other one on my vehicle. Note I did not use the Air freshener bottle that it came with cause I already have the desired outcome and am saving it for another time. Don't be afraid to spend the money on this. Extremely Worth it! 10 star rating if I could!

It worked well but not as expected. Overall perfect for the purpose it is made for.

Super easy to perform the work; find the AC drain, plug the cone style adaptor into the drain hose, spray in couple times, residual water coming out was brown and BEST OF ALL NO MORE MOLDY SMELL!! Performed on 2008 Lexus GX-470, took 30 minutes and most of this time is waiting for foam to do it stuff once inside.
