How to recharge without sunlight Continuous rainy days or foggy days, the solar powered siren strobe max last 2-3 weeks in standby mode or if could not find proper sunlight place to install siren strobe , how to charge it? Solution 1st, You can use a light bulb. As video demo, if solar panel well get touch of light, the orange charging light in the end of red housing will keep on. Will suggest to install a bulb on the top of solar panel of siren strobe so could absorb light from it. Please go to YouTube, and search title ‘’How to use bulb light to charge solar powered siren strobe by JCHENG’’ for reference. Solution 2nd, you could use a DC12V power adapter to direct charge for 3-4 hours then the siren strobe could last another 2-3 weeks, or you could directly connect the power adapter with it permanently. JCHENG SECURITY provide a free power adapter for every customer who buy siren strobe from us. Come to get it! For connection guide, please take reference to the 3rd image of this product page. If you are in the sun great, otherwise add the power option
This is a great value for money siren with anti tamper technology. Unless this is used on a south facing wall, consider taking the cheap additional mains adaptor you wire straight to the circuit panel. Consider where to place the siren especially if mains power will be required. There is a YouTube video showing how easy this is to do.)

Completes my setup.
Easy add-on that took 2 minutes to pair and site. Very happy with this and the suppliers willingness to answer all of my pre-purchase questions. The siren is reasonably loud but not as loud as the internal siren that I also purchased a few days ago. 5 stars for quality and value for money

Works well after a few attempts.
It took a few attempts to pair with the alarm unit but got there eventually and works well. You'll definitely need a wired power supply, the battery died after only a few days on a North facing wall. I just used an old 12v power adaptor that I found, but they also sell one. If the fact that it beeps every time you arm the system bothers you then you can disable that from the main unit.

Can't fault it
After having the alarm for a while and being confident on its reliability I added the bell box. Easy install. Ran a mains power to it as this is England and sun is optional. As always JCC customer service was exceptional. Videos and amazing communication. Really can't fault there product or service.

Alarm siren
I have this siren connected to my J Cheng alarm system. Works nicely , but does need the 12 v power supply if you don't place it on a south facing wall. Best way to connect it to the alarm is by watching the YouTube videos, once I had done that it was easy. Customer service is first class. Recommended by me

Great for the price - but best if hard wired to a 12v supply
Connected to the control unit after a few attempts. Loud enough but I would also advise the purchase of the hard wired siren which plugs stright into the control box. That additional siren gives a good back up - and twice the noise. Also the hard wired siren is essential should the remote solar / battery strobe siren fail. I'm not sure yet about the robustness of the battery and solar set up to keep working in all conditions but the great news is that the seller will provide a 12v charger that can be hard wired into it (video on You Tube). I strongly advise you do that. Excellent after sales service from Aggie

Not happy
So hard to make it work and still...it doesn't. We had problems with it since purchasing it, so if I would have the choice to buy again, I wouldn't. I would invest in a better quality one.Quite dissapointing

Really good if it continues like this
So far so good. Works well with the alarm system and has not ran out of charge in over 4 weeks now. And it’s been dull
