My “little beast”, as I refer to her, is so play motivated and LOVES her new toys. The wand provides great length, not only to make attachments really fly high, but also make it easier to reattach the magnets. The magnets are strong enough to reattach just by getting wand end and close and they are also strong enough to create some resistance while still letting her pull the toy away. A great bonus is that the magnets attach to the front door and can be pulled up and down, providing different type of play. The wand also has a nice clip on the end to secure the string while not in use (although we have not actually used that particular piece yet since I have not been allowed a lot of down time since receiving). I want to also add that this company is amazing and their customer service is top notch. They are so helpful, friendly and quick to respond. It’s a well made product from a great company and we are truly impressed!!!

I was excited with the idea of a cat wand toy that has a detachable toy. Hunting, catching, "killing" is a natural instinct for cats - and play that accomplishes this cycle is healthy for our pets. On the end of the wand toy string is a fully encased magnet - the feather, soft animal (and more types sold in an add-on pack) each also have a safely encased magnet. The magnets are just the right strength for an active session of hunting. As in real life as soon as a cat catches its target, it can grabbed, pounced on. Cats often shake their prey toy, and the game continues because kitty has made a catch - no strings attached 😁. Now kitty is free to complete this play cycle more satisfactorily because, ta-da! Kitty has Successfully won its prize. Now, the design features. This a strong, well build play equipment. The wand collapses to self-store and provides a tangle free cord storage. I appreciate the rod length options-fully extended for large area playing, or proportionalized size for timid cats or a smaller play area. I could continue on praising features of this cat wand. But to bottom line it: This wand is unique in a few keys areas. It is sturdy, and soundly made for years of play. Prey that can be pounced on or plucked out of the air, and become the cats hunt. They truly name a capture and are free to strut their stuff, of pull it off to hide. One of my cats frequently douses her prey in her water fountain before offering it as a prize to those she loves. Every cat family needs at least on of these! This is a best of the best find for me!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The idea of this wand toy is really cool and something new! Two unique highlights: (1) the toy is attached to the want string with a magnet so when the cat “catches” it, it comes off and the cat can truly catch the toy. (2) due to the magnetic attachment, you can swap out what toy to attach to keep your cat interested over time AND you can attach your own custom toy if desired. Overall, this wand is great and my cat loves it. The wand and toys are all high quality and it has a convenient notch at the bottom so you can easily and neatly wrap the string up to store it. The one aspect that could use a little improvement is the strength of the magnet. It’s pretty sensitive and the toy detaches very easily. For some cats this might be fine, but for more “heavy pawed” cats, sometimes the toy comes off too quickly and they can’t get a full chase in (a couple times the toy detached as I was swinging the wand aggressively - so again, magnets may be weak for cats who like fast and furious play).

Extremely well thought out cat toy. The wand is made of metal instead of plastic, making it super durable (a must for my cats). I love the magnetic attachment system. You can easily swap the toy out with another. I love that the string is not elastic, so i don't have to worry about it getting stretched out, but it's also easy to replace if needed. My cat definitely enjoys being able to catch the "bird"that i have him chasing. I've already bought another to send to a friend. Seriously, love it.

This cat toy seemed like a great idea - my cats love the fishing wands and this one is designed to actually let them "catch" their prey. The rod is collapsible and feels VERY sturdy and is neatly designed with grooves to store the line when not in use. It also comes with a duplicate feather toy. However, 3 design flaws: 1) The clasp is magnetic. It's a pretty strong magnet so that you can fling the toy around and not detach through normal movement. That's great. Unless you live somewhere in tight quarters with metal bits around like heater covers, nails in floorboards etc. and that strong magnet just sticks to everything else instead. 2) The clasp is a plastic cap. I have wooden floors so it is LOUD. 3) The clasp looks small enough to swallow and not permanently attached to the feather toy (you slip it like threading a paperclip). So unfortunately this toy will see little use in my household. But if you have carpets, large open spaces to play, and can overlook the clasp, it should be a fun time.

Fantastic toy — my cat absolutely loves it and goes wild every time I bring it out! It’s super fun, easy for him to detach the toy himself, and I love how it folds up neatly for quick storage. After lots of energetic play, I’ve noticed it can detach from the wand a bit more easily than at first, and the feathers on the attachments wear out quicker than I’d prefer — but that just shows how much fun he’s having with it! Occasionally it gets caught on furniture during play, but it’s nothing that takes away from the enjoyment. Overall, it’s a wonderful toy that keeps my cat entertained and active — I’d happily recommend it to any cat owner!

Amazing cat toy!

My two boys, Maple & Onyx, LOVE feather 🪶 toys & wands. They absolutely loved this wand & the feather attachment. The wand is high quality and durable. I don’t foresee it breaking anytime soon. Our cats are pretty rough on their toys and have broken wands in the past. I am confident this wand will be around in our house for years to come. It’s easy to use & retracts very small for storage when not in use. Overall I’m VERY please with my purchase and I would/will be considering purchasing more items from this brand/seller. The feathers are great quality which I also appreciate as my boys LOVE to lick and chew on them & these feathers are holding up to their silliness. The wand is also a nice long length when fully extended, but can be adjusted shorter as well.

Why has no one else thought of this before ever?! This is brilliant and enables kitty to express her real hunting instincts when she "catches the prey" without dragging and whipping a large plastic rod around the house.

My cat loved the toy which is a win however i didn’t enjoy the hold of the stick and the string is a bit long plus the toy can fall off pretty easy if you move it quickly which is what my cat likes. but she also enjoyed when i just threw the feathers and she would play fetch. plus the extra attachment to make your own toy is super neat! overall great idea thank you!
