Wasserstein Solar Panel Compatible with Spotlight Cam Battery & Stick Up Cam Battery - Incompatible with Spotlight Cam Plus, Spotlight Cam Pro (1 Pack, White)

I bought this to use with a Ring stick up cam. The power plug doesn't quite match the stick up cam socket which doesn't have the fixing screws (Not Wasserstein's fault I should have read the description!). However the plug does fit snugly into the socket as the genuine ring article would, giving (I hope!) a water tight seal, just to be sure i put some waterproof silicon grease around the hole to add an extra seal. I installed the battery just under two weeks ago. At first, I wasn't sure if it was charging the camera battery, but then we are in the middle of winter with short gloomy days. Just checked again, and charge has gone up from ~60% to 80% in the last week. Quite satisfactory for this time of year, as the days get longer, I'm sure it will get to 100%.PS. If anyone else does take a chance on using this with a stick up cam, and water gets into your camera, don't blame me or Wasserstein. It looks OK to me, and I'm happy with mine, but it's your choice.

Haven't been using the panel long, but it seems to work in quite dull conditions and charges the battery quickly. Was easy to fit, so I'm happy with it so far!

I was really surprised at the quality of the item considering it is quite a bit cheaper than the Ring solar panel. Even the box it came felt like it was going to be quality item. Ordered on Saturday arrived on Sunday albeit a bit late in the day but I still put it up temporarily to get the Ring Spotlight charged. Not sure where the best place is at the moment but a couple of cable ties around the gutter will give me time to see how much it charges up in that area. It had a 60% battery this morning and now its at 90% after a day of hazy sunshine so I know its working correctly. It also comes with screws and raw plugs for when I decide where it is going to be put permanently.

It’s early days but so far so good.The Wasserstein solar panel was easy to install and position. I connected it to my Ring Spotlight Cam Battery whilst the battery level was critically low. After two good days of sunshine the panel had charged the battery to 90%. The test will be how well the panel maintains battery levels on dreary UK days but so far I’m very pleased.At 2/3’s the price of Ring’s panel I was a little concerned about the build quality and it’s ability to charge my camera before I purchased those fears were laid to rest as soon as I received the panel.A great buy, hopefully no more mains charging required!

Easy to install and works far better than I thought it would given some of the negative reviews. It was a choice for me of buying this or an extra battery , I plumped for this and very glad I did as we had some building work done last month that meant the battery cam going unconnected to this for a couple of weeks and after 9 days I had to charge the battery manually. Pain in the posterior to be honest!Highly recommended.

Product was cheaper than Ring and does the same.It was well packaged and arrived on time.Instructions were adequate as was easy to install.Charges Ring stick up can effectively.Im happy with the purchase.

At first I couldn't get the connector to go far enough in to make connection, not could I tighten the screws to hold it in place, but then realised there's a couple of silicone plugs that are in the way of the screw holes. Flicked those out and hey presto we're good to go. Now to get some sunshine!! I also bought the drain pipe bracket which makes fitting and adjusting a breeze.

Installation bracket doesn't give very much maneuverability but it's a good sized panel and recharges device well enough not to need to take out the battery.
