I had a double surgery back on December of 2024. Incisions on the front (belly) and 5 incisions on my back (Robotic Surgery) They want you to walk as much as possible which is very minimal so you are left to lay down or sit down. Because I chose to sit on the couch I started to develop sores on my bottom. This even with sitting on pillows etc. I decided to purchase this item to relieve and allow my bottom comfort without having direct pressure where it mattered (use your imagination) From the 1st time I sat down the difference was incredible and provided incredible relief. Because I work from home temporarily I move this cushion to wherever I sit. It's not so bulky to where you are 1 extra foot off the ground. It compresses just enough for any seat you desire. I have tested this. I am critical in my reviews but I can tell you with 100% certainty this item is effective. I sit on this thing for over 10 hours a day and the bottom is now healing. I would surely not hesitate to buy another for me or anyone else. Great purchase.

For use in a car, the cushion raises you up about 1.5"; which could be a plus for someone who can barely see over their steering wheel or it could be detrimental to a tall person . It really does add a great deal of comfort to a flat, uncomfortable auto seat.
