I am a little shocked to see this book has one star at the top of the page. I feel this is based on one negative review and therefore i wish to offer a different perspective. The book is superbly presented, and is not to be classed with other Taschen works of photographs taken by professionals. It does what is says on the tin so to speak. It is a collection of great pics done by the girls themselves , and is all the better for that. The quality is superb and the binding top notch. Every picture is interesting and as a collector of erotic photography books, the best ones are the ones that carry with them the personalities and authenticity of the girls themselves. This is certainly in that category , and i have no hesitation in recommending it to others who collect these works. To have a balance of works by professionals and amateurs is the best way forward for this type of publication, and i would love to see the publisher create more volumes of this type. Once again highly recommended.

Good photographs taken in unusual ways & done beautifully. Gives a new meaning to selfy. Very satisfied with the book

Uwe Ommer gets pretty young women to take self-portraits while naked or nearly so. Provocative photos emerge yet all tastefully done. An essential coffee table book for the bachelor pad

Unsure of what to expect from the book but was pleasantly surprised with it. Mixed of girls of all colours and in a mix of black and white and colour pictures (personally, I would have preferred all the pictures to be in colour, but understand and respect why they are not); ranging from a few with some clothes on to full nudity. Covered in foam and paint; trapped in nets; skipping; lounging provocatively and seductively; lifting weights.... If there is one thing I would have liked to have seen is that some information about each girl be included with her photos, but, maybe such information was not included because it could have lead to people stalking them.

I bought this book about a week ago. I think the text is concise and mildly interesting as is the photography. The photo locations could be better and the poses were the usual kind of 'oh let's mess about in the studio' kind of thing! Overall I'd say the book's a good buy but one could do better. I would not reccomend this book to anyone under the age of eighteen.

Whoaa!...if you like black women you will like this book.

Ancora una volta il maestro non si smentisce, è veramente un libro di ottima fattura, con scatti delicatissimi e di qualità! Varrebbe l'acquisto solo a vedere la copertina rigida. Vorrei dire ad Amazon se potesse per i photobook specificarne le dimensioni, io ho acquistato pure Black Ladies (capolavoro ancora più bello) e mi aspettavo le stesse dimensioni, invece questo è molto più grande. A parte ciò ottimo, per gli amanti del nudo fotografico di classe (e a mio avviso della bellezza africana, ma non ci sono solo quelle), ACQUISTO CONSIGLIATO. Ah, mi sono dimentica una cosa: il tema è quello del libro, quindi l'autoscatto (come si può notare dalla copertina, guardando la mano della bellissima modella africana). Geniale!

Adorables et ravissantes jeunes femmes heureuses de se prendre en photo,Plaisir des yeux et sensuel devant ces corps qui s'offrent dans la gaieté, ce n'est pas pour l'enfer d'une bibliotheque on a envie d'aimer ces jeunes femmes. De très jolies photos que je ne me lasse pas de regarder.

***** Another Great piece of Art work -- Uwe Ommer does it again --- His Photos should hang in our world famous Detroit Institute of Arts. When I said he does it again I mean his "Black Ladies" publication from Paris, France several years ago. --- TASCHEN, the publisher of both these masterpieces via France is ( to me) the best publishing empire in the world. If you never heard of TASCHEN Publishers then go to Amazon and look up - G.O.A.T. ( Greatest Of All Time ) -- A huge photo history of Muhammad Ali -- GOAT was originally sold for $3,000 to $10,000 ( depending on if you only want the book or extras like a life size statue of Ali ) ------
