Timeless, Classy, and Premium for the Price
The Timex Marlin has instantly become one of my favorite watches. The design is clean, elegant, and true to the vintage inspiration. The champagne dial looks incredible in person — warm, refined, and versatile enough to pair with anything from casual layers to a button‑up. What really surprised me is how premium it feels on the wrist. The case finishing is sharp, the dial is beautifully balanced, and the overall presence is far beyond what I expected at this price point. It has that classic, understated charm you usually only find in much more expensive pieces. It’s comfortable, reliable, and stylish without trying too hard. If you want a dress‑leaning watch that still works for everyday wear, the Marlin is a standout. Absolutely worth it.

A good collectors choice 👌
I consider myself a watch enthusiast. I have over 40 watches. Timex was probably my very first watch as a kid. They are know for there affordability and durability. I read about this Timex watch, in an Esquire magazine. The watch was described as one one the best watches, under $200. I lover it's style and the quality.

Timex makes a decent mechanical watch.
For those who thought Timex movements were strictly of the quartz variety, think again, as the install a decent mechanical movements, are well. Reasonably accurate, nice feel on the wrist, and beautiful design are it's most notable qualities. The Marlin I purchased has a stunning "Tiffany Blue" dial with beautiful applied hour markers that are embedded in the dial for a unique look. Comes on a nylon strap that I like, but could be put on a leather strap for a more of an evening look. All said, it's a terrific little watch, and I'm glad to see the much-maligned Timex step up in quality and make a respectable mechanical watch.

THE WATCH THAT REDEFINED TIMEX!
The Timex Marlin automatic in "Tiffany" blue/teal is an absolute stunner of a watch. It might also be one of the greatest watch bargains of all time. This watch is a real eye catcher with the dial color, polished applied stick markers and highly polished case that appears almost chromed. The dial is concave with dimples at the chapter ring to recess the markers. A domed acrylic crystal covers the edges of the curved dial creating an almost bubble effect that reminds me of a 1950s movie space helmet. It has an automatic movement and a display case back. It has a retro vibe that is really fun. Replace the included NATO strap with a nice black lizard/leather one, and suddenly it's an absolutely amazing dress watch. I've been running it on a winder for a week and that Miyota movement is clocking in a +10/day which is better than ANY Seiko. All this for a watch so cheap you can buy them by the dozen? Thank you Timex.

Another well-done watch by Timex
Timex has done it again. This is a high-quality, very good-looking watch for the money. The bracelet has a good finish good feel to it. The bracelet was massive - had to remove 4 links to accommodate my 7 1/2" wrist. That's not at all a criticism - just potentially helpful info for those looking to accommodate large wrists. The crown and pushers feel great - definite, positive detents where you'd expect them. Photos don't do justice the shine of the face - it's amazing in person - and the acrylic lens complements the shiny face well by limiting reflections. The size and weight of this watch perfectly match my personal taste, not to mention the attractive color of the face contrasting with the polished case and bracelet. And I love how the color of the pushers and crown match the indices and hands. This is the most expensive Timex I own, but it's a bargain for what you get.

Doesn't Stay Wound
Looks great, but in all actuality is the worst automatic watch I've ever owned. Absolutely will not maintain being wound for more than a short few hours. I wear it daily and unlike other watches I own, stops quickly.

Stunning design, cheap movement and strap
Absolutely stunning design, but extremely cheap movement that spins out of control if you move your arm too much. And a very cheap strap. I sent it back.

I picked this up, lightly used and the watch came brand new never seen a prettier watch than this one, if you get a good price go for it you wouldn't regret it

Such a nice colour, it literally shines... such a beautiful watch. But the strap is worthy of a Dollar Store watch - cheap, loose fabric. Silver fittings that feel like stamped aluminum clasps. I knew this going in from other reviews, and was likely to change it. Until the spring pin gave out... just going through the sleeve of my jacket as I pulled it on, a spring pin exploded and the watch fell to the ground. Now the crystal has a mark on it.. my damage so I cannot return it. Oh well, it was a lovely 3 days of wearing it...
