This is a great ball for high energy dogs.
I have a Belgian Malinois, so you can imagine the Maligator jaws. Just opened this today and let her play with it indoors. She LOVES IT. It wore her out and it’s a toy she can really stay focused on without needing me to throw or roll for her. It moves on its own! I supervised her play. I was hoping it was too big to get under the couch, but no. It goes right under it. I had to block off the gap so I didn’t have to keep getting it out from under for her. The outter “shell” is very durable! When she had resting moments, she chewed it pretty good - I could hear the material squeaking against her teeth. I was worried she was tearing it up, but nope! Not a mark on it. It’s easy to set up and operate. It needed charging before play. After hours of play, she was able to somehow unscrew the outter shell. This concerned me bc the smaller, inner ball mechanism came out but I saw it right away and was able to put it back together. So, make sure it’s screwed together tightly (which I thought I had done without breaking it) and check it from time to time to make sure it hasn’t loosened. This is a great ball for her incredible high energy drive. It gives her the work and fun play she needs to get tired, which I love. This toy is on the expensive end, but so far it’s worth it. Now we’ll see how long it lasts!

Quality product for the right dog...
Honestly it's a really cool product well constructed and moves around on its own with several different modes. The design id brilliant with a tough rubber ball that unscrew to expose the element that makes it move in the middle. The dog won't be able to unscrew it but you can if you ever need to replace the ball for any reason but it would take some work for a dog to destroy the outer ball. Almost like "Kong" type material. The ball is about the size of a softball and the element inside is about the size of a golf ball. I thought my dog would love this but she was afraid of it, which is strange because she's afraid of nothing. Anyways I gave it to my neighbor upstairs and she has a yorkshire terrier who plays with it all the time so it all worked out great. Quality product . Good job!

Not for heavy chewers!
Does a good job keeping dogs interested with its movement and automatic features. My dogs were definitely curious and engaged when we first gave it to them. However, this toy seems much better suited for dogs that don’t chew heavily. My two dogs managed to chew it open and break it within a couple of weeks. For gentle or moderate chewers, it could be a nice interactive toy, but for stronger chewers, it probably won’t hold up very long.

Winner !!!
This amazed us. For perspective, we're talking about a three year old white german shepherd who if he's in the mood, has and can kill a toy within minutes or oddly enough be gentle with furry balls and carry them around as if they are his babies. He's an odd duck. Anyway, since he was a pup, and to this day, he'll play and entertain himself, he'll grab a ball, throw it up in the air, then pounce on it as if it's from outer space. It's really quite cute and funny. Because of those two things I was looking for something interactive that would entertain him and confuse him....let's be honest, watching a confused dog is one of life's great pleasures. I tried two other interactive balls and they were crushed immediately. After reading a lot of reviews, people with german shepherds said this ball actually had a life span. I thought the third time could be the charm and ordered one. Well, I think it actually may be from outer space because he's obsessed with it and hasn't taken a bite out of it. He hasn't once chewed it or even teared little pieces off. The three settings are great. Sometimes he likes one better than another, then forgets about the others. I'll change it up to one he hasn't seen in a while and the whole game starts over again. He'll throw it up in the air as he does with his others, watch it and try to figure out which way it's going to go. And yes, he will pounce on it if he times it right. The size is perfect, it's heavier than your average ball but, that's what make it sturdy. I have to sneak it away when he isn't paying attention to charge it, otherwise he'll sit, stare and cry if he knows it's on the counter charging. It's a lot of fun for all of us. I'm so happy I bought it...... I say give this ball a chance even if you have a beast with killer instincts. I'm buying another for a friends 2 year old golden retriever granddog. Thank you Cheerble.

Worth the price!
I bought a similar version for a Christmas gift for my dog an it was destroyed in 20 minutes. Not this one! It’s still alive a month later. It takes a while to charge and the charge doesn’t last a very long time. It’s a little bigger than a tennis ball. Kind of a spongy material. Not loud at all. Very fun for my Annie brown dog! No worries about it being safe. No cleaning needed.

Impossible to open
Bought as a toy for my dog who is obsessed with balls. He thoroughly enjoyed the movement of the ball, however getting the ball apart to charge was a nightmare. If I screwed it on too loose, he could open it while he chewed it (which brings into it a safety concern) and if you screwed the ball together too tightly, you couldn’t get it open. I even had some friends try to unscrew it just to make sure it wasn’t operator error. Alas, the thing stuck together like super glue. I did like the fact that you could replace the outer ball, however that wasn’t necessary since I could even get it open to charge… So ended up just getting rid of it.

There's good and not so good
It's a really cool interactive ball. I love the soft material it's made out of. It really feels like it would be great to bite. My dog gets excited about chasing it around. I chose this ball because if he eats/tears it up we can just replace the casing. BUT, it seems like it needs to be charged a lot. It runs out of battery so quickly. And, I feel like it's a pretty pricey toy. Other than those two things it's a really fun toy.

It moves, but not very much. Either I got a dud one or the movement is somewhat less than advertised. Yes it moves maybe about 3m and then stops and it bounces but only about 1cm off the ground at most. My dog is a Kelpie and this did not move as much as the advertising suggested in my opinion and she took one look at it picked it up and it could shake all it liked, she just carried it around and ignored it trying to move in her mouth. She got bored off it super quick, and it took along time when I put it on charge to say it was charged even though it was straight out of the box.

Good quality dog toy, but be warned that it requires that you already have the inner motor part!
