After spending way too much time reading reviews and comparing products.I bought this vent hood fan. With so many out there it was really hard to choose. I'm really happy that I chose the one I did. The vent hood arrived in very good condition.No scratches or dents. It works great and moves a lot of air. It has 2 lights on the underside, which are wonderful at getting just that little extra light while you're cooking or using as a night light. I also like that it has five little buttons that let you turn on the light and the intensity of the air suction. My old one, you just had to keep clicking 1 button until you got to the setting you wanted. Also, even knowing it has very strong suction, the noise level is not nearly as bad as many.I have heard. My husband was able to install this himself with no difficulty. I feel like that.It was a very good value for the amount of money that was spent. Because of the nature of my cabinets and the hood vent, this item cannot be seen by other people.But I feel like that.It has a very sleek design and that it does look very nice inside of its spot. I would recommend this product to others.

I bought this insert to install in the hood my husband built for our kitchen remodel. It works great, is very quiet, and the lights are bright. It was easy to install.

This vent insert worked perfect in my new remodeled kitchen. Very streamline. Love it! The fan is a little noisy on high but at low and medium sounds fine.

Works great! But DON’T TRUST THE MEASUREMENTS IN INSTRUCTIONS! Just removing a star because the measurements for the cut out in instructions was wrong! But enough that I had to redo it all and waste quite a bit of material. So make sure you measure the actually vent and not trust the instructions. I took a picture to show where the measurements were off!

We just installed this 36-inch range hood insert, and so far it’s working great. It looks great. We’re loving it already!

Moved into a new place that had a 1917 Glenwood Coal/Wood Burning Stove, with 6 griddle top, as the "kitchen stove". It had to go, and was replaced by a new Propane fired 5 burner from Samsung. Of course now the issue is how to add a light/exhaust fan over it. I looked all over the interweb and this Zomagas Range Hood was the ONLY one that had a 6" stove pipe adapter for the fan vent. With a little cutting on the old Glenwood stove pipe, and some hooks and corner chains to hold it up this Range Hood fit perfectly. Just what was needed, and it works great. Fan speed is good, lighting as well. Great product. I contacted the local sheet metal fab shop and finished it off with two angle pieces of brushed stainless and everyone says it looks like it's always been there.

Very pleased with this vent. I have tall ceilings with a free standing enclosure over the range and no upper cabinets. I needed a large vent to fit the area. This is heavy and did require two men to lift and hold for installing it. Our situation is probably a lot different than most so would probably be easier installing for others.

Only reason we didnt give it a 5 because of the difficulty removing the plastic wrap. Insane!!!

It's ok but it arrived with a huge dent on the front corner. I wasn't going to return it and wait for a new one as it would hold up the kitchen install. I had to use a block of wood and hammer to try straighten it back out, I should have got a discount or something...

Was installed Dec 5th 2025 - it’s been 4 weeks all is good - only wish the led lights were changeable to soft white - but all in all great - had a vent hood built
