Fun competitive racing game
This set of 2 RC control cars and a race track is a good way to get kids away from the computer and playing with some actual toys. The cars are snap on together, and it does give a one time experience of building your own car. Though given that there are an exact number of parts to only build 2 cars there isnt really that much choice in what you build, but it still gives a good start to the game. Also the connections are rather solid, and feel like they will survive some handling. The controls are ok and typical of any RC car, and the 2 remotes work on different bands so you don’t mix with each other's controls. It is not that easy to get the car to control, but with some guidance you can get it working. The fact that the cars are rechargeable means you don’t have to keep hunting for batteries, but it also means that once you run out of charge you need to wait until it charges and cant just swap out a fresh pair of batteries.Listed Price when I reviewed it: £29.99(Disclaimer: I received this for free as part of the Amazon Vine program, but the views here are based on my own experiences and not edited or influenced by anyone)

Nice car but the quality it’s not very good
This car set came packaged very nicely and this makes it a nice gift for your little ones. The package includes every necessary accessory you need to build them, which was not difficult for adults to do but I think a little complicated for children even though they could rely on the manual. The cars are rechargeable while the remote controls require two batteries for each and were not included in the package. The cars work well, they are fun for children but considering the quality which for me is a cheap plastic the price is a bit high. Anyway this is just my opinion regarding the quality, overall they are nice.

great option for younger kids
This set of two RC cars and a race track is a fun way to engage kids in hands-on play and move them away from screens. Here’s a detailed look at its features and performance:Building and DesignSnap-Together Cars: The kit includes parts to assemble two cars, offering kids a one-time experience of building their own vehicles. However, the limited number of parts restricts creativity, as there’s only enough to build the two specific cars.Durable Build: The snap-on connections feel solid and sturdy, designed to handle some rough play.Performance and UsabilityRemote Controls: The two remotes operate on separate frequencies, ensuring smooth control without interference between the cars. However, controlling the cars takes some practice, which may require adult guidance initially.Rechargeable Cars: The rechargeable feature eliminates the need for constant battery replacements, but it does mean downtime when the cars need to recharge.Overall ExperienceThis set offers a fun introduction to RC cars and racing games for kids. The building aspect, though limited, adds an interactive element, and the durability of the cars ensures they can withstand energetic play. The race track provides a structured environment for gameplay, though more advanced users might find the controls less intuitive.VerdictThe RC Cars and Race Track Set is a great option for younger kids who are new to remote-controlled toys. It provides a mix of creative assembly and interactive play. While the limited building options and reliance on charging may be drawbacks, it’s still an enjoyable and engaging toy for family fun.Recommended for beginners and younger children looking for their first RC car experience.

Needs two AA batteries for controller
I was looking for stocking fillers and stumbled upon this. My grandson loves making things so I thought this would be right up his street. To be honest I like building things too so as he is only 6 I wanted to make this together. It’s way to tricky for a six year old to tackle on his own but he will definitely want to help and I will make sure he does the bulk of it but I will help with the trickier stuff. It’s a racing car at the end once construction is completed and it turns into a remote control car. The controller needs 2 x AA batteries which are not supplied.Highly recommend

Maybe Not Worth 30 Quid
In the box you get everything to build and run the two cars, ( except the batteries for the two remotes ), a bunch of cardboard accessories, two charge cables and instructions. The two cars have their own 3.7V Li-ion batteries, you have to supply your own batteries for the two remotes, they take two AAA batteries each. The cars are easy to build, thanks to the comprehensive instructions. The reason i haven't rated this kit very high is the fact everything is plastic and looks very cheap and personally i don't think it's worth the asking price. Other than that the cars work as expected.
