Lemon TV Mini Android TV Box, 4K HD Smart TV Box Small Box with Dual WiFi Built-in Casting App Ultra-Portable Compact Design Streaming Device(Including BT 5.4 Remote)

Initially I couldn't get the display to show on the head unit. Once I connected it to a tv and changed the resolution to the lowest setting which was 480p, I then connected it to the head unit through hdmi and the display showed on screen. I could then increase the resolution to match the head unit and it works great. Snappy controls, no input delay. I'm happy with this purchase.

The device seems like normal android tv but it cannot be discovered in order to link to Google Home nor to cast to after many attempts including factory reset and different networks. I could find it with Bluetooth but that was it.

This TV box works fairly good. It has google play store for loading apps, but not all apps I wanted were considered compatible with the android TV box. The box did go through several updates after getting it set up on a google account. I use a separate google account for devices like this since I am concerned there could be security risks with devices like this. There was also an alternate app store that allowed loading apkPure store to load alternative apps. That said, I could not load brave because google play said it was not compatible. But, I found a brave-monoarm.apk version on github that I could download then install with package installer after allowing the installation of unknown apk's. The Brave browser runs pretty well with the remote provided, but takes some getting used to. A remote mouse and keyboard makes it easier. Brave streamed video nicely on rumble and other websites. I am running the latest Brave, the same that is on my phone, and the settings menu is the same. I also did Rumble app and a browser from the play store. Both functioned very well and could stream video. I could connect bluetooth ear buds, but had intermittent audio. Probably not the box as I have the same problem with xfinity Flex with 2 brands of ear buds. Maybe to much RF at close range with the router being right there too. The talking to the remote feature does work, but not like the flex box. I can't say to just play a song on youtube or tubi, it goes into a whole separate search. Maybe I just need to learn more about it. There is no manual. Asked the seller and they provided a link to their website to get the manual, but can't find it there either. There are more detailed specs on the website. The box is generally more responsive than I expected. I did experience some slow down after opening 8 tabs in Brave, so will just stay with a couple tabs at a time. Can get gmail to work from Brave. I see that there are casting apps preloaded, but didn't try those yet. I keep the box on the guest network away from other devices, so got to deal with that first. There are many free movie/live tv apps preloaded. Overall quite an upgrade in capability from previous generations of these boxes.

I ordered the Lemon TV Mini Smart TV Box because I saw a notice on my Vizio Smart TV that Netflix was no longer supported on that platform. I figured I'd use the Lemon TV to access Netflix instead. They even explicitly show Netflix in one of the photos on the product description page. Moreover, Netflix is preinstalled on the device. However, Netflix will not work on this device. Every time I click on Netflix, I just get an error message. There doesn't seem to be a way to get Netflix to work. I recognize that this is ultimately due to Netflix's lack of support for older Android OS's, but a smart TV box that can't run Netflix is not a viable product in my opinion. Given that you can get a Fire TV stick for $18 during Black Friday, I see no reason why anyone would want to pay $31.50 for this. All that said, the device is compact and seems to be of a decent quality. Setup was straightforward, and pairing the remote was easy. I guess if you don't need Netflix, this might be a good device for you.

Small but definitely not lacking in anything. Perfect for traveling or if you don’t want any bulky setup for your TV

Not complete. No instructions. Does not work with You Tube TV, only you Tube video clips. Who wants to sit in front of a 60 inch tv screen to watch you tube videos? ATTENTION SELLER: Here's what happens when you list an item incorrectly and don't include instructions in the box! Package does not include 3A 5v power supply OR a long enough cord with USB C plug on both ends. (if your TV has a usb port on it that should work with the short cord provided tho) It will take 3 weeks by the time I receive all the needed parts that aren't included. By then the 30 day return window will have closed. Plus the voice command feature didn't work for me. It's a LEMON all right, TOO BAD I CAN'T RATE IT 0 STARS, BC I WOULD!

Great device a power house packed in a miniature package handled everything I threw at it.

Product works great unless you want to watch Netflix. I don’t blame the product (per se) other than that they need to update their firmware to support Netflix. Btw, I equally blame Netflix for this because they don’t want to make their product backwards compatible. With all of that said, I’m not sure I see much benefit to this product. Yes, you can watch Amazon and others, but a product like this should be designed so that you don’t have to switch products just to watch a service.
