I have extremely aggressive arthritis that affects every single joint in my body on a seriously painful level and as a result, have found it VERY hard to find products that genuinely provide decent, long-lasting relief for my symptoms... In the past 15 years, pertaining specifically to this [lumbar/back] issue, I have tried a plethora of different back supports that offer a varied & generally limited range of relief from such aches & pains. I had pretty much given up hope as I have owned & tested so many, from generic versions, to medical-grade variants (and even improvised ones), but never found that 'complete' support which provides a solid, consistent 'resting-point' + comfortable, long-lasting support... until I decided to test this one... Honestly, this back support is EVERYTHING I have ever been searching for my whole life!.. It offers such a life-changing level of support that I was almost upset that I had not found it before! I mean, I have used similar ones, but they always ended up causing unbearable discomfort or irritation in some way, which is what makes this product stand-out from the rest... I feel no discomfort, no persistent urge to re-adjust the belt in any way, no need to take breaks or use it in an unconventional fashion; it is perfect the way it is and it is also versatile! It is of reasonable, sufficient size that actually covers the area which back supports are supposed to - most others usually fall short or are way too small and keep 'riding' + folding up/down frequently, whereas when wearing this belt, it will stay in the desired position without any sort of movement whatsoever, until you decide to take it off (sometimes that has been for up to 20 hours during a bad 'spell' with my arthritis). The best part I like about this belt, is that you don't need to tighten it whilst you are putting it on (like a lot of other belts) or have to tighten it via a single strap on one side to give yourself awkward/off-balance support that gradually becomes slacker - you literally just strap it loosely/normally around the body first, with the main strap and then the 2 bands, either side, are the mechanism by which you tighten the belt and, by design, allows you to have FULL control over the level of support the belt provides, specifically tailored to your personal needs + the straps can be re-adjusted at any time, whenever you wish, without having to lose support! Wearing this belt for the first few times really enlightens you to the significant difference it makes to improve your posture and effectively reduce/eliminate the aches & pains in the spinal region! This is the best back support belt ever! An all-rounder that scores major points in every field. It's an exceptional product which can swiftly eliminate any developing injuries that I would otherwise sustain during my 'worse' stages/phases (which come without warning, at random times), so I always keep it within reach for whenever I get that distinctive 'stabbing-ache' sensation in my back. The support struts are not intrusive and can NOT be felt (well, not individually, not like they are 'poking' you), you can not distinguish between any of them whilst wearing the belt - it just feels like a satisfying 'squeeze' that contours to your body, at whatever pressure you adjust it to... I personally believe that the belt is of perfect 'thickness', not too thin, not too thick... just right. One thing I can say for certain, is that, the materials are of a remarkably high-quality and the level of care that went into the design of this product, makes this a masterpiece! True craftsmanship skills went into the production of this belt and I am grateful for that! The different materials have a superior, incredibly exquisite 'feel' to them and appear to be highly durable/resistant to damage + wear & tear - it's like a premium product but it is affordable; a real bargain for a great-quality support belt - I would definitely recommend this, without question! I use it all the time! (It does, inevitably, make you sweat a little underneath, but that's to be expected of a decent support belt - it's the comfort + support + relief that counts!

I had a sudden back pain recently and thought I would try this to help me through. I have used other supports in the past but they were far more flimsier than this one. This is a really great support with a double locking mechanism using Velcro. The first is to tighten the belt around your waist and the second is to create an even tighter fit which both can be adjusted to suit. Without going into any great detail the most important factor is whether or not I feel the belt has helped me and the answer is an undeniable YES. I wish I had bought this belt sooner as it really made a significant difference supporting my back and helping to eliminate any sudden pain. It was comfortable enough to wear and it just helped me get through the day far easier. Absolutely worth the money for what I really needed it to do and it’s there if I ever needed to use it again. I would highly recommend this product.

Fits well but bit scratchy on skin. Comfortable to wear and supports lower back very well. Velcro fastening easy to attach and strong. Just hoping it eases pain from disc damage.

Great, easy to adjust. This is my second purchase, one for work and one for home. Gives me confidence when moving around and reminds me to be careful when bending. Must admit it is a bit difficult to bend and pick something up from the floor when wearing, but that’s the whole point of it supporting your back. Keeps your back warm too. Not to be worn continually tho (advice from my Osteopath).

I got this one for my dad, who has been suffering with back pain whenever he has to walk for long periods of time. He put that one on and then WALKED 12 KM without feeling any pain! Excellent quality and it definitely works!

I got this belt for my mother who is 88 and has arthritis in her spine . The back support is ok but the front when put on tends to ride up . I got the right size according to the size info provided.

I’ve had sciatica for many years which led to me having a microdiscectomy 10 years ago. The operation was successful in terms of me being able to have a lot more freedom of movement and not being in agonising pain every day. However, I still have chronic back pain and experience sciatic pain which comes and goes. Positives about this product are: 1. This back brace really helps as a preventative measure to reduce the risk of injury. I always wear it if I know I’m going to lift something heavy. 2. Helps speed up recovery when I have sciatic flare-ups. 3. Recovery from back pain is faster when wearing this brace. 4. Well made. I have had two of these during 7 years (due to weight loss) and the first one lasted for 5 years and is still going strong (given to a family member), current one is just as good. 5. Supportive boning all around. Others I have used have been either too flimsy or too restrictive. 6. The height of brace I find works really well in terms of the area it supports. 7. Good support whether standing or sitting. 8. Relatively comfortable even when carrying out activities that require bending or during exercise. 9. Strong velcro that stays stuck! This does not pop open. 10. Obviously no brace is completely comfortable but this is supportive and makes you aware of your posture. Negatives: 1. The only negative I can think of is that if you have weak shoulder/arm/wrist pain it may be difficult for you to fasten the brace to the desired tension. I have had a shoulder injury so have experienced this personally, however, someone else will be able to help you fasten it easily enough or you could use place your feet apart, place one hand on a wall and use this to push against and fasten the brace to a better supportive tension. I’d really recommend this as a preventative and recovery aid if you have back problems or sciatica or if you want to ensure that you protect your back during heavy lifting.

It arrived on time, the steel parts are very sturdy so they hold my back at one place, which I really liked. For the price, very good quality. I would recommend.

Obwohl ich sofort nach Erhalt eine Rezension bereits geschrieben habe, werde ich erneut "gebeten" mit vielen Mails. Ausnahmsweise, weil es ein tolles Produkt ist, zu dem ich schreibe, schreibe ich erneut: In der Zwischenzeit habe ich den Gürtel bereits zwei Wochen und meine Beschwerden waren noch vor Weihnachten weg!!! Hexenschuß. Und ich hatte schon öfters Hexenschuß, aber noch nie so schnell weg. Einfach schon das Gefühl diesen Gurt zu tragen, ist seelisch entspannend, als wenn man sich nichts mehr neu verletzen könnte und das, was man schon hat, wie ein Verband "stillgelegt" wird. Ich kann also nur eine 100 % Empfehlung für einen Gurt erteilen. Und dieser Gurt hier mag etwas teurer sein, aber er scheint allerbester Qualität. Ich las, manche fanden, dass er stinken würde. Mein Produkt stinkt nicht, es mag eine andere Chargenherstellung vielleicht sein, aber ich bin höchst empfindlich für Geruch und kann schwören, hier stinkt gar nichts! Ich trage den Gurt NICHT auf der nackten Haut, das halte ich für völligen Quatsch den Gürtel damit dreckig zu machen. Da ich Wärmesalbe auf meinen Rücken schmiere, trage ich selbstredend ein Tshirt und dann erst den Gurt.Ich trage den Gurt auch nachts. Ich habe im Bett stets durch das Liegen und Seiten wechseln ENORME Schmerzen und habe deshalb etwas lockerer den Gurt drum. Die Wärme durch den Gurt und die Salbe sorgen zusätzlich für eine wohltuende extreme Wärme und ich kann hoch entspannt einschlafen und ruhen. Gleich nach der ersten Nacht: KAM ICH AUS DEM BETT ohne "einen Kran" ;-) es war besser geworden. Also, dieser stabile, hübsche!! und genau richtig breite Gürtel, ich habe eine Bauchweite 120 cm!!!, hat mir geholfen. Er lässt sich verstellen, nachdem er um den Bauch geschlossen wurde, durch Nachregulierung weiterer Streifen, die über den Rücken angebracht sind und ebenfalls über Klett veränderbar sind. - Ich habe vor, immer, wenn ich schon ein zwicken und zwacken an meiner Rückenstelle fühle, sofort den Gurt anzulegen und für Wärme und Entkrampfung zu sorgen. Entkrampfung der Muskel, weil mein Kopf weiß:"jetzt kann mir nichts mehr passieren, entspanne Dich" Wir wissen sicherlich alle, das Verkrampfungen der Muskeln vom Kopf und eben von Sorgen etc. kommen, die einen sich verkrampfen lassen, also scheint es mir logisch, auch etwas für die Kopf zu tun und lächeln zu können. Ich lächel, wenn ich jetzt gerade meinen Gurt geholt habe und mich auf meinem Bürostuhl gut fühle, nachdem ich vorhin wieder ein Zwicken spürte ;-)- Ich hoffe, dass ist eine nützliche Referenz für viele Betroffene :-) Bei weiteren Fragen an mich, antworte ich gerne.

With a back problem I've had a number of big brand-name braces, but this one is the best because of the boning. It starts to mold to your body frame (I have to wear my brace lower, starting at my belly button), so to have it "molding" and staying in place is a big plus. This is the only brace I've had that also stays in place while driving, and it doesn't ride up around my neck. Because the logo is big and clear you don't always have to jockey around to find out if it's up or down. It works in a slightly different way with the velcro but is always tight and never ever disengages. Velcro is easy to clean with a pair of tweezers. I would say that I wouldn't put it directly on my skin because of a couple of sharp edges relating to the 'logo' side, but that doesn't bother me. The support is very tight if you want it to be. I'm really happy with this since I have a closet full of useless braces that come apart or ride up or are too complicated to use.

This brace was so worth the purchase! It is helping my back to heal after a serious fall. I can tighten or loosen it easily depending on my activity. It is not only comfortable but it is comforting as it hugs and supports my back. I sweat a bit wearing it which I think might be a good thing. I bought a customized larger size and it fits well. I am thankful there are such good items out there when you need them. It makes my back feel great.
