Good quality screen
This screen was perfect for my outdoor patio remodel. The vertical supports on our patio are 48 inches on center, and although 48 inch wide screen should technically work, it didn't give enough wiggle room for any mistakes. This roll of screen is perfect. The extra width was exactly what I needed to do the job correctly.

Worked fine for my project.
I was doing a screened in porch. The openings were about 50" high, and 50-75" wide. So I used up a total of about 40' of the roll. I replaced silver aluminum color screen, so this stuff is considerably more clear. My sister said she could not tell the screens were back in. The only reason for the four star is that they put twist ties around the roll and that seems to have damaged the first couple of feet. I did not worry a lot about this as I had more than I needed, but if you're calculating close to a 50' need, be aware. The screen is packaged in a heavy cardboard tube, so it's well protected from any shipping damage.

High quality screen, no reflection from the sun at all.
My porch was due for rescreening so I tried this Phifer product (the 50" and the 36"). The screen was rolled up in a nice thick cardboard carpet tube which really protected it during shipping. And the screen was rolled around two thick wide circles of wood or cardboard with a hole in the center where I stuck a long broom stick through to make rolling the screen off of the roll a breeze. You can hardly see the screen yet it is very sturdy aluminum.

It’s not your Grandmother’s screen.
To anyone replacing old screens on a porch. This new aluminum mesh is NOTHING like your old metal screen. It’s very delicate. You can’t bump it with a tool, elbow, toenail, anything while installing or it will get holes in it. We had to replace one section 3 times because of a slip of a tool or screen bead. It’s very frustrating. I’m afraid to swat flies for fear of ripping it. But, it looks great so there’s that. It’s also packed and shipped well. But it’s not your Grandmother’s screen that could take a beating. I guess that’s progress??

Screen had machine marks on it.
The screen quality was good but there was a clear line throughout the whole roll that seems to have come from the machine that rolled up the screen to package it in the tube. I had to try not use those parts of the screen but the line was about 12-14 inches from the edge. It's hard to see in the picture but it's there and it shows up when looked at from different angles.
