It's a wonderful book and very helpful.

It is the best resource on improving English pronunciation for an advanced speaker that I've got my hands on so far. The chapters on intonation are extremely helpful.

I am enjoying these books as lot. I'm doing some exercises and already learning many interest things about changes in pronouciation that I didn't know. They'll teach me a lot.

I love this book because it has not only explanations and audio CDs, but also a lot of exercises for extra practice(e.g. grouping together words with the same vowel sound or finding the odd one out).

I was very disappointed when I found out that the exercises were showing accents from different countries like Canada. I thought that I would have the British accent

Very detail lessons.

I have used much of this book with a Spanish learner whose Englsih pronunciation is nowhere near as good as his reading and writing. It has engaging excersices and clear explanations. There are some surprises, such as when a recording includes a non-Englilsh speaker, which keeps teacher and learner alert!

Das Buch wurde schnell geliefert. Es ist sehr gut strukturiert und die Übungen sind einfach, effektiv und sehr vielfältig. Die Erklärungen und Tipps sind sehr hilfreich. Dieses Buch ist für jeden zu empfehlen, der gerne an seiner Aussprache arbeiten will, egal welches Sprachniveau man hat.

Este libro es perfecto para ti si ya tienes nivel y te gusta la serie English in Use. No voy a comentar nada sobre el contenido (que es muy bueno), pero sí sobre otros aspectos que pueden interesar a quienes vayan a comprarlo:- Es la primera edición, lanzada en el año 2007. A fecha de hoy es la única que hay para el nivel avanzado.- Aunque la editorial es alemana todo el libro está en inglés y los textos son los mismos que los del libro de la editorial de Cambridge. Lo único que cambia es el precio y no sé si las hojas son de peor calidad (me ha parecido eso, pero tendría que tener los dos a mano para corroborarlo).-No trae CDs. En su lugar tienes que entrar a la página web que te indican en la primera página, crear un usuario e introducir el código que proporciona el libro. Los audios están en MP3 y puedes escucharlos online y descargarlos.Por menos de 20 euros es una compra más que recomendable.
