*6 stars I Prefer this to $250 Keychron (one of the highest rated keyboards around)
I’ve had this keyboard for 5 years, after much abuse it’s finally decided to start having some issues. I’ve spilled stuff on it, accidentally sat on it, bending it, smacked the absolute crap out of it while gaming, I’ve really beat this thing up. 5 years it’s served me well. It still actually works! But the numlock keeps rapidly turning on and off on its own, and the battery is shot. I spent a good year not using it so I’m sure it drained completely. Prior to that I basically only used it to log in and then hopped into vr so it wasn’t used much daily.Anyways, I thought now that it’s time to get a new keyboard, I should join these mechanical keyboard folks! Sounds great right? Everyone says it’s the best! So I do some research, and found the keychron q1 he, supposedly the best keyboard around right now that has wireless HE. And while I must say, it’s certainly a premium product with a $250 price tag to match, I’ve already begun the return process and I’ve ordered another one of these. The keys feel so good imo. Most keyboard people hate on membrane keyboards, but man this one just feels good! It’s nice and poppy despite being membrane, I don’t feel any of the “squishiness” that I hear about regarding membrane. I feel like my key presses are instant, but tactile, and most importantly, I game on my couch, so my keyboard is on my lap, and this just works so damn good for that setup. So sorry $250 keychron, you guys make an amazing typing platform but it just doesn’t compare to the reliability, ease of use, and durability (I have never cleaned it once except for when I spilled on it.) that this keyboard has for literally 1/10th the cost. I’m sure if I was a typer I’d love that keychron, but I’m not, I’m a gamer, and this games great. Amazing product.

I Love it!!!
Today, I received my new Arteck Ultra Slim Keyboard. Absolutely Awesome! It's got a nice and black finish on the top with chrome gloss back cover. This has a very Elegant look to it. It has Bigger - Brighter letters, has low profile keys and has an ultra slim design. All of which I Love!! I wasn't sure I was going to like this new type of keyboard… but… it totally ROCKS!!! I'm gonna have to get used to the keys on this keyboard because of the low profile design, but I can definitely tell a difference when typing on this keyboard (which I currently am using to write this review). They keys are spaced just far enough apart that you're not pushing multiple letters at once, but not too far apart that your stretching your fingers to get to the keys. As far as I can tell… It responds quick, no lag time in the response of the keys being pushed versus the words showing up on the screen. Keeps up with my typing even though I don't type super-duper fast, I'm not a super slow typist either. After just using a my work keyboard today (HP Keyboard) I can definitely tell the difference in how much more comfortable and responsive it is to use and how much more low profile it is compared to the traditional keyboards. The ergonomic position of my wrists are at a good angle and I am not having to tilt my hands up or down depending on the height of the keyboards that I currently use. The Arteck sits lower for my wrist/hand position than they would on the HP keyboard. Definitely a plus in my opinion. Straight out of the box it had some battery life so I just plugged in the USB device and just started using it with absolutely no problems. I plugged in the charging cable and turns out the keyboard was nearly charged when it arrive because it took less than an hour to fully charge the keyboard. So far, so good.To say the least, I am definitely impressed with this new Arteck Keyboard. I wasn't sure I was going to like the ultra slim design with the low profile keys, especially after some of the reviews I've read, but I give it 5 stars of 5 stars only because of its low profile - ultra slim design, its plug and play feature and because it works with absolutely no issues straight out of the box.The only concern I have is it’s a USB-rechargeable keyboard. I am used to having wired keyboards to home and at work and the fact that its rechargeable sounds great! But I'm just not sure how this will ultimately benefit me at work using a rechargeable keyboard versus the wired keyboards that I'm used to. I will have to see how this all plays out regarding in regards to the pros and cons of using a USB-rechargeable keyboard. Only time will tell.

Long Charge - nice feel
BATTERY LIFEI waited until I had to charge the keyboard before writing up this review. I received this the first week of December, charged it, and now this is 3/20/24 (almost 4 months later) and I am now charging it for the first time. I actually forgot that this was a rechargeable. I was looking for the battery slots and then remembered I had to plug it in. The keyboard light (red) lightning bolt had come on a few times but I figured I would just wait until the battery went dead. Then just a moment ago, I couldn't type any longer. As soon as I plugged it in where it's getting a charge, I was able to start using it immediately. I like that I can also turn it off when I go out of town so that it preserves the battery, although, admittedly I sometimes forget about this features. I use this keyboard daily as I do trading in the morning and I also do consulting work. I'm a techy person and just enjoy being on the computer.ERGONOMICSI personally love the feel of this type of keyboard with shallow keys that I can feel being pressed. I used to have a bluetooth HP keyboard that felt like this and went out, causing me to buy this one. It has a full keyboard and number pad. I use the Fn lock so that the volume, play controls work since I don't use the regular F keys as often.CONNECTIONI had no issues connecting this to my computer. I plugged in the usb dongle, turned it on, and my laptop found it immediately.VALUEAs of today, 3/20/24, this keyboard is only around $25 and I think this is a great value.CONThe only con is that it isn't spillproof. My last keyboard, I accidentally dripped coffee onto it and it quit working. I believe this one will be the same, so I am trying to be very careful.Mine shipped directly from Arktek and arrived right away. It's been a great keyboard and I truly recommend it.
