Get one that works
When you get one that works they're great. We had to send a few back as the speaker sounded like it had a cat scarer built in, and the light stopped working on another one. We had one for my eldest son that was perfect, and now we have one for my youngest too.

Great product!
This night light is fantastic and we got it for an amazing price. After buying several night lights for my toddler who suddenly became afraid of the dark we were getting desperate. This seems to do everything! The light projects coloured stars onto the ceiling, they dont move but gently fade in and out of colour. You can set it to stay one colour or change between 4. It has music also which was great for us after years of using the same wind up musical mobile. There is a selection of lullabies and natural sounds such as water and rainforest sounds and there is volume control on the side so you can turn it up or down as you wish. There is a lock button at the back to prevent your little one changing the settings. At the front you have the time and temperature and you can set an alarm so its will fit our needs as our children get older. You can set a timer for the music and lights for 15mins/30mins/1 hour which is great. The only downside is there is no remote so i have to go in and put it on again if my daughter has not fallen asleep after an hour, but you cant have everything! It came with a lead but no plug section, although this can be bought seperately. Thanks to the timer though the batteries last ages. Love this product and would definately recommend!

Don't know yet if it's a keeper
I was so happy to get this item I thought it had everything I needed for my son. A night light, Temp reader , clock and white noise coz that was the main reason I got it. I had read the comments and someone said yes it has white noise , but it didn't it the sea noise with birds in it.Than I thought i just plug in my phone and just put white noise on it. But the cable that you get didn't work and I can't get white noise at all.And the longest it stay on for is 60 mins and that not long as my boy keeps waking up.Really thinking of sending it back as it cost a lot and it don't have the main thing I wanted.feel really let down by it.Not happy :(

Beats other night lights hands down!
A really good item, which has helped us at bed times, no end. The LED lights are very bright and project stars on to the ceiling and walls, which fade and change colour simultaneously. The music is a bit 'plinky plonky', but there's a good selection. The heartbeat sounds like a barking dog though, so I'm not sure how relaxing that one would be?! You can plug an MP3 player into it, which is a great feature. Definitely buy a mains adapted though, as it goes through batteries rather quickly. All in all a great little night light and sound system, which for the price is really worth it.

Poor quality
Had this for over a year now and I've been meaning to replace it with a different one for so long because so many things simply don't work as they should. The only reason I haven't bought another one is because I paid so much for this one that I don't know how much I need to spend to buy one that works consistently.Batteries get used up in a heartbeat so it's really quite rubbish that a mains adapter isn't supplied with this, especially given the price. The clock on it stopped working about two months after we got it, which was really annoying at the time but we ended up getting used to that. The sound quality is poor and has a sound like interference when it's playing, so can't turn it up very much. The stars are quite nice but only really visible on the ceiling directly above where it is, they don't project very far around the room, and the room it's in is very small.Probably the most annoying thing about it is the battery situation, but that would be ok if all the other things weren't wrong with it. I bought it because of all the good reviews and thought that they must be right if it costs that much. When I get around to buying a different one, if it goes wrong I'll send it back immediately, because it just becomes a low-level daily irritation otherwise.

They love it! They don’t use the glowing lights much ...
Bought this for my daughter to use for her baby. The baby, my grandchild, is two-years-old now and has used it ever since he was 6 months old. They love it! They don’t use the glowing lights much for sleeping but I can see where some children would like it cause it works well. Excellent buy. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant
Love that you can turn the volume up or down and that there is also a timer you can set for the music and star show, stars are quite bright would have loved if they moved around but they just fade in and out and change colour and a few positions but there is also a good range of music and a brilliant heartbeat setting to ease newborn babies.....worth every penny

Great, apart from the sounds
Nice projections, has displays for the time, temperature and even an alarm clock. My only issue is the sounds. The good bits are that there is a good selection of sounds, you can set the timer so they go off automatically and you can even turn the volume up or down. What lets it down is that the sounds are a loop of about a 3 second sound bite, resulting in a really jumpy loop that is too fast to be relaxing. It's a shame because it is otherwise a nice projector. There are a lot cheaper projectors on the market that don't include the sounds but if one is expected to pay extra for one that does have the sounds, they should be of better quality.
