This encoder is quite impressive! This is the right one
TLDR; Encoder is easy to use, feature packed, reliable, well built and customer service is extremely helpful! I wouldn’t buy an encoder from any other brand going forward. Full review; I had purchased an HDMI encoder from another brand that was advertised to work with VLC. Spoiler alert it didn’t work with VLC player well at all! This uRay encoder is high quality and just works, very simple to use, it streams reliably and has every setting I could think of. Customer service is very responsive to questions and request for assistance. I was curious about the API this device uses and they were able to help me formulate an API call to change the setting I was looking to change. Most other AV companies don’t provide such a high-level of customer service and it’s so great that they provide awesome customer service like this. One thing to be aware of; so far I have only been able to get L-PCM 2 channel stereo audio working with the HDMI encoder. I’ll probably have to down-mix my Dolby 5.1 bitstream audio to 2 channel stereo, not a dealbreaker and I’m not taking off any stars for this since it’s easily fixable on my end and I have not even asked customer support about it yet. I’m sure they would go above and beyond to help anyway they can! All around a great product, great company and good people!

IPTV Converter for Community TV Channel
This IPTV encoder was perfect for our project to create a TV channel for our TV provider to include in our channel line-up. This encoder has many easy-to-find settings, which we adjusted to the specifications required by our TV provider. The encoder has been working flawlessly for over 3 months now. Despite power outages here in Florida, the encoder comes right back on when power is restored. This encoder meets our needs.

Reliable and easy to use
I've ordered 4 of these so far over two and a half years and they've all worked great. Each one has been used to stream a DVR from one site to another so there's always a full set of cameras visible on a wall-mounted tv. There's no need to keep VMS software running somewhere pulling streams from each individual camera so it's much easier and uses way less bandwidth. I've also only ever needed to program them once, so it keeps people from needing to figure out how to access the cameras on their own or ask me, they just keep going so long as there's power and internet. I use them with the URayCoder decoders which are also easy to set up and reliably run the streams at 1080p and 30fps so they look as good as it does on the screens at the source.

Reliable, high quality video encoders.
I've been using these URayCoder encoders for years. I have three of them now. They're amazing. They're extremely reliable and the video quality is excellent. Mine are running 24/7 and they never have to be restarted or anything, they just keep working. Excellent product, excellent value.

Solid Encoder great for meetings under 2 hours
I have been using this encoder for 18 months plus, and I purchased a second one which upgraded the Ip user interface with a live video feedback from the encoder. They both work well although interfacing with them is a little tough because the user manual is not clear. However it is clear enough to get started. They are work horses but they are especially sensitive to fluctuations in bandwidth. They work without fail as long as your internet connection is stable which is generally for about 1 to 2 hours before your ISP cycles the connection. Nonetheless, if you don’t lose your bandwidth completely they will recover the signal with some refreshing of your browser and your monitoring points. If you use it with a Big online video support CDN like Vimeo or YouTube, you’ll likely lose the live event on those platforms and have to reinitiate a live event in those interfaces. I purchased a more expensive brand of encoder and it performed worse than my U-ray encoders. These encoders are reliable but they don’t reinitiate contact with the streaming CDN after a lose of bandwidth on their own. You are better to connect them to a small CDN where you have more access to controls so when bandwidth is lost for a short time, when it returns you can reconnect with the U-ray coder from the CDN interface. An automatic reconnection process would be a good upgrade for this device. So it automatically retries to connect when bandwidth fails and returns. Also recording on-site is the solution to loss of bandwidth because the cloud recording will have the gaps and poor quality from the Internet drops. Overall I recommend these encoders for use with Fiber connections which do not suffer from ISP cycling or for meetings which last for less than 2 hours before a break where you can power cycle these devices every 1 to 2 hours to reestablish connection to your CDN.

Great Decoder
I've purchased several of these decoders over the last couple years and haven't been disappointed once. Some say that their instructions are lacking but I didn't find that to be the case. However I cannot speak for everyone. If you are looking for a decoder that allows you to display more than one picture, such as a "Quad" display, be sure to read the product description, because they do offer them. The units I've purchased are used in a retail grocery setting, and they are easily attached to the back of the PVM/TV for discretion. I've mounted some to the TV mount itself, others i've used some 3M VHB tape and just attched them that way. Either way they look professional and have a fairly small footprint. I would recommend these to anyone who needs a decoder! Note: I did not rate the Tech Support, because I have not needed any Tech support so far.

Low resolution is fine
Works as documented but found it struggles with 1920x1080p full frame rate source. Was necessary to drop to much lower quality and lower frame rate.

The device arrived nice and quick, and came with a manual, which sadly is useless. My first review of this i was told broke a rule or two, yet dont know what rules i have broken as i am not told. So this i attempt number 2. I will state again that i couldnt get this to talk to any of my Windows 11 machines, either pro or home. BUT i could get it to talk to windows 10, which is good because i had to edit the settings for the network dns. Lets face it, if i dont mention that in this review, then it would NOT be a review. It arrived around 4pm and i finally got it talking to youtube by midnight. I got this for live streaming for a church, and i had to go through the same process once i installed it at its permenant location. It certainly wasnt "plug and play". I was lucky i still had a windows 10 machine knocking around. The manual really needs a re-write with someone that knows how this works and rather not a bad translation. I am pleased how it works. Once setup, i didnt even need to log into my youtube account and click the "fo live" button, it started streaming straight away. I have used other type of devices, the one this replaces failed, the video quality on this one was superior. So for the price, it gets the job done.

This is the cheapest streaming encoder I could find so I was a little hesitant but it actually does the job quite well. Just a couple of things. For whatever reason, the default IP of this device is 192.168.1.168. So the first thing you need to do is hook it up to your router along with a PC/laptop so you can change the segment to 0 so it can be seen on most people's local network (ie 192.168.0.168) This is a bit of a faff and I don't know why they don't just make the default 0 anyway!!? Odd. Also, there is no way I can see to stop it from encoding as long as it is turned on and plugged in. You literally have to have it turned off at the plug to make it stop. Would be nice if they just added a start/stop button in the software.

Works like a charm. Very good value too. 1080p*50FPS H264 at 6mbps. You can have up to 4 stream types/quality variations at a time. Highly recommended
