Soft, comfortable, lightweight for summer, or early fall weather.
I love the shirt. I normally size XL and that is what I ordered and it fit just right for me. I have long, monkey arms, and long sleeve shirts generally don't come to my wrist, but ride up my arm, but this shirt provided enough sleeve length. Very soft, comfortable. Doesn't fit super tight like many short-sleeve biking shirts, but I didn't want it to fit that tight, so there's plenty of room for arm movement. If you want a tight fitting shirt, consider ordering one size smaller. Weight-wise, its light weight, I'm wearing it for hot summer rides to provide sun protection, and you can still wear it into the cooler fall months, but not much further when it turns cold, unless under a jacket. I wish they had other colors, I'd order another one.

Not bad for the price
So Im spoiled living in Southern California. My rules are if it is over 50 degrees, short sleeves. If it is 50 to 45, long sleeves. Anything less than 45 (one or two weeks out of the year) wear a long sleeve T under the long sleeve jersey. This jersey is just perfect for that. I bought one. Got it in 2 days. It wasn't that cold (52 degrees), but I used it, washed it, used it again; Bought 2 more. I would compare it to my other long sleeve jersey that retails for $60.00.

this garment had a pull in the fabric and a footprint on the chest right out of the bag...
