Excellent quality
Very nice serrated sewing scissors. So good for metal threads in embroidery, I like this larger pair more than the usual 3-4" size. Kai is an excellent brand and this pair is a fine example. This pair is well balanced, sharp, nice big finger/thumb holes, perfect size for my use.

Nice sewing scissors
Have a larger pair of these that I like so wanted something that I could use as I do hand sewing too. I only use them for fabric & thread & ribbon and they are a nice size and seem to stay sharp.

Good, but Karen Kay Buckley Perfect scissors are better.
Makes excellent serrated micro cuts. However, the Karen Kay Buckley Perfect scissors work just as well and the handles are more comfortable.

Handy and Less expensive
These Kai 3160, serrated blade patchwork scissors are *very* similar to the aqua handled ones from another scissor producer KKB. Less "grippy" than the aqua ones and have a longer blade. I sill love my KKB ones; but these Kai are handy and less expensive.
