When setting it up, I tried different placements and I had to play with it for about an hour to get the best receiption within reach of the TV. It felt like true trial and error, as it didn’t make sense to me why it worked in some places and not others. I’ve also noticed that if I stand near the antenna, the reception sometimes gets worse. So that made it difficult to find a location to put it, since holding it didn’t give you the best results. However, once I got over that hurdle, it worked great and still does. I get several network channels that I was hoping for and it definitely adds a value.The clear plastic is like a frosted clear. It comes with three adhesive strips already mounted to the back of the antenna, for mounting to the wall. These strips held up great, so much so that when I went to move the antenna after a couple of months, it peeled the top layer of sheet rock off my wall. I would recommend using command strips on the back of this instead of the adhesive it comes with.Overall, for the price, I think this is a good value and functions the way I would expect and hoped it would. I still use it now a year later.Edit: added note about drywall peeling off when I moved it. Changed title.

I mounted the antenna on the interior of a bedroom window, and it got more stations than the cheap Home Depot antenna I bought. The powered booster provided then actually improved some stations that were real spotty before, making them fair to good. It would work better if my bedroom window were on the side of the house that faces the TV stations transmitters, but that would be true for all antennas. At least the cabling is long enough to reach the window.

It's hard to choose an over the air antennta in 2018 on Amazon. I chose this one because the price was low for a 60 mile antenna. It works great and picks up all of the channels that are available to me in my area. I like the clear design and that it has a really long cord so that I can move it around to get better reception based on which channel I am watching. This is a replacement antenna and It works better than the one I had before it.

I bought this with the assumption that I can get more local channels available in my area but it turned out only 2 major networks FOX and NBC, not ABC or CBS, and other 18 digital air channels which I don't see often. Anyway for the price I gave it 4 stars because it is easy to connect and signals was received instantly for these two major networks.

I refuse to get cable so I need an antenna. This one works just as well as others but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's spectacular. There are of course channels that don't always come in or come in and go out. One of them is the channel That I watch NFL on, which almost makes me want to get cable. I have it in my window and I like that it's not tacky like the old bunny ear antennas.

Works very well. Just plug it in and scan for channels. I have many towers fairly close but it also picked up some pretty far away. All in all a very good antenna

Does not work as well as the amazon basic antenna. Shows were choppy and did not get as many with this one. Threw it away.

The U Must Have Indoor antenna does pick up channels. Not as many as others have said but it does really work and some is better than none!
