a USB C cable was shipped with the camera. I registered my camera and Ricoh is sending me the proper micro USB cable at no charge. Don't panic. any Micro usb cable will work. Takes amazing pictures and has a built in flash, which the K1 and K3iii do not have. But they do have built in GPS. You can buy a GPS module that mounts on the hot shoe of the KF for doing Astro Photography. The 24mp resolution is more than enough for astro photography as stacking 36 mp pictures can be a very time consuming process. so those are your choices

officially the jury is still out on this camera but so far so good and I love what Pentax has done here. they gave me a camera that's as close to my original Pentax film cameras as they could while providing all of the modern digital power I would need as a professional photographer. if you decide to switch from a pure digital SLR, you will absolutely love the pentaprism. it reminds me of the first time I had a 35 mm camera in my childhood and obviously the flip of the mirror of an SLR is a great sound that even silly iPhones try to emulate. additionally, for continuity, pintex allowed old k-out lenses to continue to work in this body, which I think really sets it. apart from the other brands. brands. I haven't done a lot with my older lenses, but I can imagine photographers owning some very very expensive telephotos who will appreciate this. additionally, this will allow me to mount the camera to my Celestron telescope directly. The reason I went for this model over the pure pro model is the built-in flash which gives it an agile inconvenience. I don't always shoot professionally so this is a big boost to being able to use the camera in any situation without a lot of preparation.. I previously had a Sony cybershot which was a little bit more TurnKey and the zoom level was higher but that's because it did a digital zoom. The Pentax does not support that and I think it's an honest decision to do this because digital zooms don't give you what you think you're getting. ironically, I live in Japan and once unable to get this model in Japan because they only offer the professional models and they are only black and white. at least that was my experience at the big camera stores. maybe the Japanese think that they should buy the camera with the most flashy features (no pun intended) which are the most cutting edge. I had trouble getting help at the big camera stores in Japan related to purchasing a Pentax. it was very difficult. I ended up buying here on Amazon. it's sad to see Japan walk away from the legacy they created.

Great camera, a little bit complicated for my 1st Camera that's not a 35mm. Soon understood and worth every penny.

It is an amazing camera. And, it is not expensive. It is also weather resistant. You cannot find a weather resistant camera, in another brand, in such a low price. Personally, I like Pentax cameras, as I was using them already since early 70s. At that time I had Pentax Spotmatic II with 1 1.4 aperture on a 50 mm lens. I also use models later in the 80s. Getting now this Pentax KF it is quite something! After years and years of experience, I do not know why another will have to pay over 1000 or even over 2 000 dollars for another Pentax model. This Pentax KF does the job, does any kind of job. From the other hand, things I like to see them be improved will be: - the speed on autofocus. Sometimes it takes long and give me an unnecessary sound. Besides this it does its job.

I've always been a fan of Pentax since i got my first camera from my dad back in high school. The only issue i have with the camera is when shooting in Raw. The left and top of the image has to be cropped. It appears the lens and sensor aren't perfectly aligned so you end up with a black line on top and left side. I thought that it was defective so i returned it for another which sadly had the same issue. Not the end of the world. It's just other edit to make when editing the raw images.
