Especially as I've gotten more into fermenting and preserving, and amount of bacteria could be multiplied and become incredible dangerous. These tests are quick, easy, and definitive so you don't have to second guess on safety. The results are very clear thanks to the included chart and step by step instructions. You get enough for 100 tests so it's well worth the cost. Especially if you don't use filtered water, you should double check what's in the tap.

I purchased this water kit since there has been a notice to not use the water due to the fire close to my area.This kit is very easy to use. You are provided with plenty of test strips and bacteria test pad. You just dip it in water for 2 seconds and you can see your water level from the chart that they provided (you need to wait 2 days for bacteria).They gave you the detailed information on what each material can do to you if it’s at unnatural level. They provide the list in layman’s terms so it’s concise and easy to understand.I tested my filtered and unfiltered water to check and I can see the difference, especially in ph level and alkalinity. I can rest assured that the kit is working as intended.Overall, this is a great purchase and great value. You can rest easy knowing what your water level is at before using it.

The bacteria test came back negative, the water test was easy to read, quick to develop, and seemed accurate. There are many test strips so I was able to share with others, seems like a great value for what you get. Extremely easy to use. I would definitely recommend this item.

It’s okay. Some of the squares on the test strip change to 2 completely different colors on the same swatch making me question accuracy. Retested multiple times with multiple strips. Relieved my worries about lead in the water though and that was all that my goal was.
