This is a wonderful beginner plasma cutter. I was skeptical until doing some research and finding out that some are contact start the surface you are cutting has to be bare metal. This one can cut painted and rusted metal which is exactly what I needed. It’s easy to set up and worked perfectly first try. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great beginner plasma cutter at a great price!

You know how when you talk about something and it pops up on Facebook? Well this was it and I'm glad I bought it. I cut up a whole roof on a tractor trailer and made it a flat bed. I bought the 50 piece Consumable kit and only needed to replace 1 cup and 1 tip on it during a 2 day period. First thing I did was take the metal guide off the torch end so I could get in tighter spots. There was no fitting to hook to the air was the only downfall but pretty easy to rig something up.

I bought this unit a year ago. The assembly instructions were confusing, and I ended up hooking up the air regulator backwards. Since it wouldn't work, I contacted the Amazon customer service contact point. I was told I would have to buy to parts. I let it sit for close to a year and again contacted customer service, but via ARCCAPTAIN website, not Amazon. I received quick responses and within a couple days they had shipping the new parts (from China) at no cost. I assembled the machine and have tried it out. It works quite well. I like the guard at the tip which keeps one from shorting out the tip like other models I have had. I knocked off one star on account of the confusing instructions.

A little finaky at times but gets the job done. Good quality. Easy to use
