Night Vision “Binoculars” Work Amazingly Well at a Reasonable Price
I’m pleasantly surprised at how well this inexpensive, easy-to-use night-vision viewer and camera actually works. On the webpage it’s described like a pair of binoculars, which it certainly resembles, but that’s kind of misleading. The unit is really a still picture and video camera that displays on a bright, 3 inch color screen at the back and can switch between regular color viewing and monochrome night vision infrared (IR) modes at the touch of a button. At the front, on the left (as seen from the back), is the camera lens and on the right is an IR illuminator that beams out an invisible-to-the-human-eye cone of low-frequency energy which the camera can pick up. It’s pretty dramatic, switching back and forth between normal vision and IR night vision and seeing the dark, normally invisible world spring to life. In either mode, you can zoom in and out using the arrow keys to get a closer view. The zoom function is digital, which means that the closer you zoom in, the less effective resolution you have. But digital zoom can still be very handy. The camera lens at the front left has an adjustable focus ring (which is very binocular-reminiscent) for getting the best sharpness for objects that are nearer or further away. Make sure to focus for the distance you're interested in, especially for nearby objects which are more sensitive to correct focus. Often, at night when I hear a disturbance I want to know if it’s someone prowling around my property or, more likely, a racoon scoping around for trash (sorry fella, it’s all locked up in the garage). I’m also happy to have these ready in case of an emergency, like when the power goes out at night and I need help finding and setting up backup gear. Using the keys on top of the unit you can select between still picture and video mode and set your resolution parameters. Then, you can record whatever you see on the viewing screen. The unit includes a 32GB microSD card, a data transfer cable, and a handy little SD card reader you can use to transfer images to the computer in lieu of connecting via USB cable. One likely less well known feature is PC Camera mode. When you connect the unit to a computer with the USB C cable, you're given a choice of Mass Storage mode, which you can use to transfer images, or PC Camera mode, which directs the real-time camera output into a program such as OBS (Open Broadcaster Studio) - a free and quite remarkable video capture and internet streaming program. In PC Camera mode, the controls on top of the camera are disabled and you start and stop recording or streaming using the on-screen control in OBS. One important consideration is that you need the unit to be set for either regular, color video mode or IR, night vision mode before you connect because you can't change parameters via OBS like you can when you're not connected to a computer. All in all, I'm very happy. I’ve never had any kind of night vision camera/viewer before, and I’m impressed with how well this one works at such a reasonable price.

Great Beginner Binoculars, Great for Hiking, Birdwatching, Hunting, Scouting, etc...
These binoculars work great for the price! The zoom on the binoculars works well with the ability to adjust the graphics as needed. There is a mounted lamp that can be used to guide you when not using the night vision feature. You can also take photos and videos. You can also adjust the settings for bigger images, frame rate, video length, power saver, etc... Attached in the photos you can see the different modes turned on at a distance, showing no night vision and flipping through the different levels to reveal clearer imaging at a distance.

Fun looking around in the dark!
This is a nice, lightweight night vision set of binoculars. It uses IR LEDS to illuminate the scene along with any natural lighting, even when it appears very dark to us. You can also use it during the day as a normal set of binoculars and get color images. The screen is about 3". It uses a 5000 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. A charging cable is included. It has 7 levels of IR brightness, but I found the default was normally good for my use. It also has 8 levels of digital zoom. It allows you to take pictures and video, which are saved to a MicroUSB card (supplied in the package). For the price, this is a lot of fun to see what is lurking around in the dark.

A recording camera good for night vision
This is an IR illumination type of night vision. It use IR LEDS to illuminate scene and use camera sensor to capture the IR reflection light. It forms a black-and-white image. I can use it to clearly see 30 meters scene cross the street easily. I attached a couple of IR scene black-white scene I tested during night: Completely dark during the night. But I can see clearly using the camera. During the day, I guess the mechanical IR-cut filter is removed so that I can see accurate color images. One tricky thing is that the camera does not target well indoor and intend for outdoor, camping or hunting purpose. Your IR light is invisible to human eye or animal, I guess, but the screen LED screen was lit up. So, you are not completely dark in the scene not to be seen by the hunted object. You can use a video recording or picture taking mode for either purpose. Pretty good to recording down what you can see. Nice function!! Generally, I think this is a good quality product of camera for IR illumination civil use camera. I can use it a lot in my hunting and night camping purpose. Like it as my camping tool, home security, wildlife cams
