Does the job
Nice colours only have a picture of the silver one i have used. You can see what I have engraved and then the silver rub on put on over it. Easy to use and a little bit goes a long way so dont use loads.

Lovely product. One of the tubes was dried so couldn’t use it, but otherwise great coverage.

Average!
Poor choice of colours. Quality of product is OK. Black was really dry and hard to apply.

I used the Silver Leaf to fix the finish on a 1980's Panasonic boombox, the finish had somehow been chemically wiped clean on spots and about 1" along the bottom front--very unsightly. A few dabs, wipes, and buffs of this stuff and it has a perfectly matching finish again, in color. Sheen is a matter of skill and perfection, I'm sure others could so better than I did on the first try, but from any distance it looks fantastic. It does dry quickly, that's the only tricky part.

Beautiful colors. I discovered these about 3 months ago after reading about Rub n Buff on Pinterest. Now I want all the colors and want to tell everyone about all the small to big projects you can do with this stuff. Picture frames, to door hinges, to letterings, house numbers...easy to use, builds easily, yet easy to remove if you need to buff it away. Get some, play and make something beautiful!

I used Rub N’ Buff to paint parts of my 3D printed cosplay prop to appear metallic. The application is super easy - I used a rag for large flat areas and a Q-top for small, detailed areas. For an aged metallic finish, I painted the prop with a black base paint prior to using Rub an’ Buff. You only need a tiny pea-sized amount to cover a decently large area. I would recommend this to anyone looking to paint cosplay parts and figurines!

I found the Silver Leaf and Pewter gilding wax to be easy to work with and smooth as butter. A very small amount goes a long way, as others have noted. They are both very pretty once applied and when buffed they have a beautiful shine. The Ebony on the other hand was not so pleasant to work with...it was gritty and gloppy. I tried to knead it as was suggested, but it did not improve the consistency. With a little extra work the Ebony was workable and had decent results. I did, however, enjoy working with the gilding waxes and found the results very impressive. I started my project with painting with a black base then, continued with the gilding waxes. I am very pleased with the beautiful results.

Used these on tarnished areas, picture frames, brass leg tips, candle sticks and so much more.
