worth it if you value safety and performance
I’m really happy to have found a resin that balances safety performance and price. Considering how expensive the professional Formlabs materials are this is a great balance for anyone printing at home who is worried about accidents and safety with resin. I use industrial resin printers at work and it’s night and day the materials you have access to as a hobbyist, both for safety and properties, but it seems like things on Amazon are finally moving in the right direction. It’s pretty simple - use the resin with the cleanest, least hazardous SDS to keep yourself safe. Would recommend.

High quality, high precision printing
The super clear resin allows for high detail, high precision work. I am developing 3D printed watches, and it allowed me to prototype rapidly with little deformation, clean features free from printer artifacts, and minimal odor. The prints also have an exceptional surface finish, which allows for polishing to transparency. Printer used: Creality Halot Plus, 4K screen

Easy to print with and hasn’t yellowed
Printed this resin on an Anycubic photon with the settings Formlabs recommended and haven’t had any failures. Probably the most transparent resin I’ve ever printed with, and there was zero yellowing even after curing for a few minutes, which I didn’t expect. There’s no smell to these either which is nice if you have a printer in a smaller space.

awesome general purpose resin
pretty excited to find a safer resin option on amazon from a reputable company that i know. i’ve tried other resins that claim to be eco-friendly and odor free, but they didn’t feel as safe to use as this one. having validated settings doesn’t hurt either.

strong and clear
I wasn’t sure a standard resin could be this strong, but it actually really surprised me. I’ve made some parts that needed to handle a bit of rough use like a mount for my gopro, and they’ve held up great. The clarity is awesome too, especially after a quick clear coat. Definitely happy with how well this resin works.

Prints great, but constant FEP problems
This resin produces beautiful prints, but I have a constant problem with punctures in my FEP anytime I use it. It has happened with each of my printers (3 Epax machines), with new FEP films - the resin always leaks trhough an FEP puncture after the 2nd or 3rd print run. I thought it was maybe a leveling issue or similar, but seeing as it's happened on 3 different machines, with 2 different slicers (but the same FL profile, downloaded from the site), I'm concluding it's either the profile or the resin. I don't have this issue with the FL Creator Tough resin, just the clear.

Good quality but high price
I ordered this resin because of Formlabs reputation for making quality products, and it is a good quality resin, but the price is a bit high for me. The print results are as good as any other resins I've used - i'm limited more by the printer (a Creality Halot One) than by the resin - and I do like the clarity of this Super Clear resin, although it does require some post processing to make it more transparent. That's a common thing with "clear"resins, and Formlabs seems to have gotten closer to a rally transparent resin then any others I've used. The cure time and wash time are longer than most standard resins, which is fine, and I'm glad that Formlabs actually specifies those times in the instructions, unlike literally every other resin manufacturer. I also like that Formlabs provides downloadable settings for their resins for most slicers, but unfortunately they don't have settings for inexpensive lower-end printers like mine. I just started with their recommended exposure settings and they actually worked pretty well. I also appreciate their emphasis on safety, although some of their marketing materials show people handling uncured models without wearing gloves, so they need to work on that a little. I'd never even heard of ACMOs before seeing this resin. And my whole family appreciates the low odor! Really my only complaint is the high price. If you're 3D printing to make money, it might make sense to pay more for a higher quality resin, but for someone who prints for fun, it may not be worth the added cost.
