DoggerJogger - EXCELLENT!
I have a an 8 month old 40 pound Schnauzer Mix Rescue who needs to run off some energy! I am retired and researched many bike leashes and found DOGGERJOGGER that was different from most other bike leashes in that it attaches low on the bike redistributing the center of gravity for when the dog may want to pull. It also was VERY EZ to install and was affordable. It worked beyond expectations the first time out! The attached video was my first try. We are now able to cruise with more confidence and speed. I also use it for a 6 year old Beagle that I care for occasionally who is accustomed to running 6 miles a day with his owner. I have no worries about the dog pulling or darting in front of the bike as we have encountered unexpected wildlife and the leash is short enough to prevent crossovers. I bike in the morning on minimal traffic pavement in my suburban neighborhood. The dogs are attentive to the distance between them and the bike and are easily cued to turning with a simple voice command. I am immensely satisfied with this bike leash.

Worked perfectly from Day 1
This is an amazing product. I love how easy it is to put on and take off the bike, and that I can use it as a leash, or to tie my pup up wherever it is we've biked to. My 1yr old cattle dog/shepard mix had never run with a bike before, and had it down pretty much perfectly the very first time we used it. The day it arrived, I took my dog out for a walk with the bike first, starting with the bike on my far side, then walking it between us. Then we went to a park with a center path, and she ran freely along side me in the grass next to me riding my bike, trying to keep up, Then after she was all tired and comfortable with the bike, I hooked her up with the doggerjogger, and she had it! We went home from the park via side streets without any problems whatsoever. My pup still gets excited and pulls when she first sees a squirrel or a cat, but the low attachment to the bike means that it doesn't pull me off balance even a little bit. It allows me to exercise her at 5am before work, when I just can't take her to the dog park. I've had this product for about a month, and I couldn't be happier.

Lifesaver!
We have a 6-month-old American Bulldog who has endless energy and drive and is already strong as, well, a bulldog. Oh, and he's fearless. Daily walks, training and playtime combined are not enough to put a dent in his energy level. Our household is more or less in chaos trying to manage his energy and create a calm, happy puppy. Our 6yo female AmStaff, who has the patience of a saint, is ready to pack her bags and split bc she's had enough. Out of sheer luck my husband stumbled upon the doggerjogger online. We We watched the videos, read the testimonials and said, "what the heck, let's give it a try. It arrived in the mail yesterday and we gave it a go today. OMG! What an awesome maiden ride hubby and puppy had! Did I mention he's a puller and if he she's another dog or human he will drag you to the ground to go visit them? Not in aggression but bc out of love...he loves everyone and every dog. Not so much love for squirrels and cats so when he sees those you're going down for sure. So back to the ride...we live in a hilly area but have one long street by our house that is straight and relatively flat. At the end of the street is a church and today is Sunday. Hubby and pup rode away and pup was "in the zone" within about 30 seconds. Off he trotted and my hubby did a few slow, wide 360s in both directions and pup turned with the bike like he'd been doing it his whole life. They rode down to the church where there were several people and kids outside. Pup got excited and tried to pull to go visit them. Hubby sped up a bit and gently swerved to create a bit of tension on the bungee and pup went back into the zone. It was beautiful. They rode up and down this street for about 15 minutes at a moderate to slow pace since our dog is still a puppy albeit a big one. His tongue was lolling and he was smiling. We took him home where he immediately drank water and threw himself on the floor. TIRED...mentally and physically. The doggerjogger is going to be our daily exerciser for our pup which should help with his training. Like Cesar Milan recommends, "exercise, discipline then affection." Oh, we also ordered the heavy duty break-away attachment but haven't used it yet. We used the standard d/j and it feels very secure. I think if your dog could pull hard enough to release the breakaway you'd have bigger problems. Thank you doggerjogger for such a great product! p.s. We use this with a ruff wear harness...great combo.

Excellent idea, but needs strengthening for large dogs
I received my dogger jogger yesterday, and did a trial run today. Worked very well with my 30 # jack russell x beagle. He took to it immediately. He is generally not a puller, and he ran right beside me. There was a little learning curve for him during the turns, especially turns into him. I also have a 76 # Rottie who is a puller. Her story didn't go so well. She loved it, and intially, the dogger jogger worked well. She was pulling me, but stayed in postion right beside me. Until...she saw a small dog freely running down the road on the opposite side of my bike. She dropped behind the bike and lunged toward the dog, and was suddenly free! The leash has what I assume was designed to be an emergency release holding the clip on. The clip is held onto the leash by velcro with a rubber covering over it. Though it appeared to break, the velcro had released. It was easily 'repaired'. The problem is that all it took was one lunge by my Rottie to release her :-( Not good. I think I am going to replace the velco part with a double ended clip, and this should solve the problem. I will update after trying this. Would have been 5 stars if the leash hadn't failed. Would have been one star if there hadn't been an obvious way to fix the problem.. The folks at Dogger Jogger need to look into strengthening this part of the leash for larger dogs.
