So easy to use and install. I ordered more.
I was pleased that these were so affordable and so easy to install. The kit features multiple mounting options and the hardware seems high enough quality to support the weight holding claim. I found the brackets were square to the arms, which was a relief because I saw reviews for other products noting this could be an issue. I mounted mine into a brick wall, so I used blue hex headed concrete anchors instead of the provided hardware. I spaced them 16" apart to mimic stud spacing and stay within suggest spec of weight claims. There are also small set screws included in the hardware kit that are designed to act as stops in recessed depressions in each arm. This prevents the shelf from being pulled away from the wall after installation. This was my second purchase of these brackets. I recommend them!

Floating Shelf Rod Brackets
I found this item to be of high quality and well made. It is designed to be a 7/16" diameter rod welded onto an 1/8" plate for mounting to the wall. It can be mounted on wood, plasterboard, drywall, metal........or just about anything that you want to suspend a floating shelf. I would give this item a 5-star evaluation, but I found that the corkscrew mounting wall plugs were of the correct weight mounting capability, but the screws were not the right diameter to adequately mount the wall plate correctly. I had to throw the screws away and obtain a larger diameter 2" screw that would spread the wall plug and bite into the inside plastic well enough to hod and not pull out. I actually used 2" deck screws to accomplish this. Once this modification is done in the package, I would give it a 5-star rating. Great packaging as well.

Size and strength for floating shelves.
My husband built 2 floating shelves for over our bar area and I did not want any of the parts to hang them to be visible but also very sturdy for glassware. Worked great and lots of compliments- you don’t even know they are there

Great for value
2 hold up a 6ft x 1ft shelf easily. Just make sure the bracket is not crooked because it will show behind the shelf. I have put it in dry wall. The drywall holders are easy to install with a drill.

Good in theory but not impressed in real life.
If buying these keep in mind that they were apparently designed for use with anchors, not attaching to studs. They do come with decent drywall and concrete anchors so credit where credit is due. The mounts are too wide for studs and mounting sideways loses the dimple that is there for a set screw and they will tend to angle with only a side mounting. I am mounting solid oak shelves that are 32" x 10" x 4" so I am NOT using drywall anchors! Also do NOT use a 1/2 drill bit unless you are OK with them being really sloppy! The company responded to someone else's question about this saying that 7/16 will work better. The mounts will NOT go into 7/16 holes. I learned this after buying a long and a regular 7/16 bit for $20 wasted. Now I have ordered another $25 worth of 15/32 bits so fingers crossed. I'm guessing that they are metric so why not just tell us the cottonpickin' size?!

Great value!
So far so good with these! I used 29/64 drill bit as I didn’t have a 15/32 and it still worked out perfectly. Seems very sturdy so far with no movement. The weight of the board itself was about 15lbs as I used a heavier duty type of wood and it’s been holding up great!

Well constructed for Do It Yourself shelve installers.
As long as you found a 2x4 stud, this product was easy to install. In order to screw this bracket into the 2x4 stud, I needed to install the bracket vertically. Note, I painted the drywall to give the feel of real brick. This bracket is well constructed and very well made. It also comes with all necessary hardware.

It hold up very well. My only improvement suggestion would be is to include a drill bit at a small additional cost. I struggled to find the right size in local shops.
