Take the guess work out of BBQing
Great tool to have when BBQing. I use it for whole chicken and other meats mostly.

Helps avoid under or overcooking meats!
This is a very nice meat thermometer! Before you use it you download the app and make sure the unit is charged. Then you stick the probe into the meat and leave it there while the meat cooks. I like that you can check on the app to see how close the meat is to the target temperature, rather than opening the oven to check the temperature. The app records everything you cook with it and the time it took to complete, so you can use it as a reference to see how much time you'll need to allow to cook the same meat the next time, which is also nice. So far, I've cooked a whole chicken and some salmon fillets, and both came out perfectly! (I have a tendency to overcook salmon, but not with the thermometer!) Both times I used it in the oven, but I'm anxious to try it on the grill. After I used it the first time, I kept getting a notification on my phone whenever I went out of range, even though I had finished cooking with it. I figured out that I needed to put the probe back into the booster, and then I wouldn't get the notifications any more. That also allowed the probe to recharge so it would be ready the next time I wanted to use it. Great product!

Worked Great!
I tried it for cooking chicken for my cat at first and it cooked the chicken to perfection! I stuck the probe in the chicken and selected the cook settings, and it beeped when the meat was ready. I feel confident in using this for future meals and for my Thanksgiving Dinner.

Good product
Seems to be solid, works well and fast. Loud alarm signals, good transmission distance. I’m very happy using it.

Worked great!
Wireless Meat Thermometer, Bluetooth Meat Thermometer with IPX7 Waterproof Probe, Extended Range, iOS & Android App, Preprogrammed Temperatures for BBQ, Grill, Smoker, Oven & Air Fryer Having a good remote read thermometer is an invaluable tool in your kitchen. Whether doing a roast or a brisket it will work for you. I like that you get both an external and internal temperature. This gives you ultimate control over the roasting process. While I got this when I was planning to do a roast for Christmas plans changed. So, my first use of this was for when I was making some beer. After you boil the wort, you need it to cool to a specific temperature before you can pitch the yeast. So, I made a rig to hang the probe into the wort and track the temperature as it cooled. The app is pretty easy to use. You can set a high and a low setpoint. So you will get an alarm when it drops to the low point as well as the high temp. For my purposes, I set the upper point above the current temperature and then the lower at the point I wanted it to alarm. The app includes a graphing function that you can use to follow along. The only problem is that the The temperature axis is fixed for 0F to 500F. It would be nice if the app adjusted the graph to match the temperature range you are monitoring. It is hard to read the app and follow the trends when the scale is so large. It is pretty much useless for following the trend of your cooking. This would be a very important update to make to the App to make it more useable.
