We didn’t expect too much out of this incubator when we purchased it. Our daughter wanted to hatch quail eggs after we were gifted some fertilized eggs. We searched for the cheapest and fastest to deliver as we had eggs that needed to enter an incubator or be eaten. Arrived the next day and we set it all up. Super easy maintenance, just have to add water as needed. The self rotating was a pleasant surprise. Set and forget! So here we are, about two weeks later with 8 hatched baby quails. Worked flawlessly.

This incubator works great. I've hatched two sets of chicken eggs with it And all the chicks survive. Very easy the program.The only downside is the watering system leaks a little bit When you first suck it up

Do not buy. I have went through two cycles of incubations and the first batch of viable eggs produced to fetuses. The second cycle produced one. The egg turner does not work properly and hasn’t ever . I believe the heating is very inconsistent and there’s no way to know if the humorist is correct or even existent . Photo is the closest thing that has came to a live chick, 4 days late and deceased . Very unhappy with product and will be tossing it in the trash after this posting.

this is basic incubator but has worked well for me. I have hatched out of it twice with about a 75% success rate. It is easy to clean, rotates as it should, and is a good beginner model for the money. It only holds 12 eggs and you do have to watch as they hatch for crowding, but all in all I will continue to use when I don't want to get my bigger incubator out.

There is not a way to know the humidity level on this incubator so I worried about the success rate however all chicks have hatched fine. So far I have hatched 6 with this incubator.

Came in an opened box, the plastic is pretty scuffed up and its missing a piece. We will see how well it incubates

Worked well, but not dishwasher safe, which is not specified anywhere and plastic trey warped. Returned it.

The motor is defective after 20 days.

J'ai eu cette couveuse pour Noël 2024 et j'attendais avant de mettre un commentaire ! en février j'ai mis 5 oeufs de poules :résultat 0 poussin ... en fait c'était trop tôt dans la saison ,le coq n'etait pas encore au top !!! car mi mars j'ai remis 5 oeufs de poules et résultats 5 poussins !!!! et début juin j'ai mis 10 oeufs de cailles : résultat 7 cailleteaux !!! (les 3 ratés étaient dûs à des oeufs trop petits et donc clairs .) Franchement pour le prix elle est top , il suffit d'ajouter un petit thermomètre hydromètre dedans pour surveiller le taux d'humidité et c'est tout !!! le reste se fait tout seul !!! c'est très bien expliqué dans la notice !! Franchement si vous voulez une petite couveuse fiable , n'hésitez pas !!

Uno dei ricordi più belli della mia infanzia risale a quando dalla città si scendeva al paese dove affondano le nostre radici, alla ”casa vecchia” dei nonni. Il momento più bello era andare a raccogliere le uova, solo quelle che le galline più intraprendenti lasciavano in giro, fuori dal pollaio, nel fienile, nella stalla… Quel compito toccava ai bambini. Ho ancora impresso nella memoria mia nonna che brontolava in dialetto contro la chioccia perché non covava bene, e le imprecava dietro come ai miei cugini che rubavano le uova per berle! Sapeva tanti trucchi per “insegnare” alle chiocce a covare bene, perché non è che tutte lo sanno fare, sapete? Nonna è morta prima di vedere le incubatrici. Ricordo bene però la reazione di mia zia quando mio cugino portò a casa la prima incubatrice: “NO, non se ne parla, tua nonna sapeva far covare le chioccie, altro che incubatrice, non l’ha usata nemmeno tuo fratello che è nato di 7 mesi e stava in una scatola di scarpe…”. Anche io non volevo. Temevo che le chioccie perdessero il lavoro! Adesso mia zia, quando le ho mostrato questa incubatrice, aveva gli occhi lucidi! “Guarda zia, basta mettere le uova qui, sulla griglia, e se il tuo gallo fa il suo lavoro, al resto ci pensa Okkobi: mantiene costante la temperatura impostata, giorno e notte, in cantina o in casa. Vedi, qui si mette l’acqua, di fuori nella bottiglia, e se la prende da solo, così mantiene la giusta umidità. E non bisogna più girarle a mano, ci pensa lei, da sola a ruotare le uova silenziosamente ogni due ore… Il ricambio del flusso di aria calda garantisce la distribuzione uniforme del calore e impedisce la formazione di cattivi odori o muffe. Noi possiamo solo stare a guardarle dal bellissimo coperchio trasparente. Anche pulirlo alla fine è facilissimo. Ed è tutto così facile il processo zia, che se mi dai 12 delle tue uova gallate, lo farò usare ai bambini a scuola, pensa come saranno contenti di sentirsi un po’ chioccia. E che emozione vederle schiudere… Okkobi 12 sarà ancora più simpatica con gli adesivi delle galline attorno, sono compresi anche quelli! Poi, fra 23 giorni, ti darò i pulcini. Good little incubator, it’s done ducks, Guinea fowl and multiple sets of quail. It’s still going strong. Temperature reading a bit off but you’d get that with most incubators, as well as a lack of humidity readings. It’s nothing an extra thermometer won’t fix. Auto rotation is great, the auto humidity keeper stays about 70% humidity once set up which is alright but possibly a bit high depending on what’s incubating.
