Excellent taste and just the right size for my grandchildren to snack on.

These are SO GOOD. So tasty, and a nice trigger of memories. They're handmade and come layered in a box with sheets of waxed paper separating each level--not jumbled up in a box. I haven't sealed them or anything, just kept them in a box and grazed on them 2-3 pieces at a time from time to time. They're pretty, very flavorful, have a lovely consistency, and there's a nice selection. One bite and it's clear this is a quality confection. Some slices mix up the flavors a bit having a "rind" of one color and flavor with a "flesh" of a different. Flavors include lime, lemon, cherry, something purple (not sure what flavor it is) and one that I swear is grapefruit, at least that's what it tastes like. They're covered with a coating of sugar, but it's not overdone at all. I would put these out for guests were I inclined to share, but I greedily bought this huge box for myself and it is going to last forever. If you're a "jelly/gummy fruit" person, you can't go wrong with this.

I'VE LOVED FRUIT SLICES SINCE I WAS A KID (WE WERE STILL CHISELLING INTO STONE BACK THEN...) AND THESE MINI-SLICES ARE THE BEST YET! NO 'TRICK' FLAVORS! THEY TASTE EXACTLY AS THE COLOR INDICATES AND ARE THE PERFECT SIZE IF YOU FEEL LIKE INDULGING YOURSELF BUT NOT OVERDOING IT! A TIMELESSLY CLASSIC CANDY FOR ALL AGES! TOO BAD I'M LIMITED TO 5 STARS FOR THESE!

These are really good, fresh and chewy. These are more flavors to choose from than I was expecting, however, I gave them four stars because there are many of some flavors (so many lime!) and only a few of others.

These arrived fresh, with a jelly gummy-like texture and firmer "rind". When ordering I knew this could be a crap shoot with the variety, but I had hopes. Which were subsequently dashed.The variety is heavy on certain types which I divided into their own qt freezer bags. Blue-Raz, Raz/Cherry, and blueberry were the least with all 3 of these taking up maybe 1/3 of a bag. Apple (light green with green) and Watermelon together took up half a bag. Lime, lemon and lemon-lime (yellow mid green rind) filled an entire quart bag and took tapping it down to seal it. Orange and grapefruit (I don't like either) was a total of 37 pieces that I left in the box to hopefully be able to give away.The packaged date was 2024-08-12, which is not too far before I ordered. If these are packed by machine, they should be able to control how many pieces of each go in. If they're packed by hand, they need some backup quality control. Next time I think I'll just order the flavor I want and sacrifice any options of variety

I ordered 2 boxes of these. One for my house and one for my sons! They are very fresh taste amazing! I would definately recommend them!!

Someone said they didn't bother returning them, you can't return them. My box showed up and only beaten like a dirty rug, but the slices were covered in so much sugar and were so hard, let's just not forget that there was no other flavors besides yellow orange and green out of 5 lb 4 lb or just those colors. You should be able to return these just so they can see what they gave you. Biggest waste of money.

In the 60's Sears had candy counters and fruit slices similar to these were offered. These flavors are slightly different, a bit jazzed up. with some two tones added. The great thing about the candy counters was that you could ask which candies were fresh. Well, these candies are incredibly fresh! I don't think that I have ever had candies as fresh as these that weren't bought from a candy counter in a store. And many "store-made" candies aren't as fresh as these. The only thing that could make them better was if they were made with cane sugar like in the old days.
