This is exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy bristles and long stems for cleaning toddler cups with built-in straws.

I have several drink cups that have a straw (not disposable) or small opening. I was on Amazon looking for pipe cleaners since that was the thing that sounded like the most logical tool to clean out the straws. However, I found this set of brushes that can be reused many times and they are 12” long which means they will push through the full length of the straw. I had soaked the straws in hot soapy water and blew through them but I could still see dark shadows inside the straws. It was scarey how much black gunk—probably mold—was inside those straws! I am surprised I am not sick or dead from ingesting mold. All it took was one time through the straw with this brush to clean it out. The black gunk was disgusting, but no more shadows inside the straw. The brush was very easy to clean. I just ran very hot water over it. Black gunk gone. I am thrilled with these little brushes. I plan to use them often. No more black gunk for me.
