37mm Titanium Telephoto Lens for Sony, Panasonic, Canon, JVC, Samsung, Nikon and Other Camcorders

I was quite excited to have this little telephoto lens arrive today, as it was three days before the predicted arrival, and more importantly the first accessory lens I've ever bought, to use on the first camera that had the provision for using them.Naturally, the first thing I did was drop it.The titanium body and (not mentioned in the listing) sturdy lens caps on either end saw me through, though, without so much as a ding in the plastic. Also not mentioned is that it comes with a little vinyl drawstring pouch to keep it in, and there was a cleaning cloth floating around loose in the shipping envelope as well, whether intentionally part of this offer or just a gimme as a thanks to customers for buying from them. The only reason to knock of a star was some kind of black dust inside the inner-end cap, possibly from the plastic abrading on the threads? It easily blew away but could get inside a camera body and gum things up or just stick to the lenses if someone was in a hurry or didn't think to check first, but handling delicate components like electronics or optics is always best done with care and deliberation anyway. I'm quite satisfied and would have no reservations about doing business with the seller again.

Got this less to test for an iPhone 12 Pro Max attached to a Beastgrip Pro. And tested with and without this on the lenses. And found this lens works well, but not any better than just the iPhone lenses pushed to their digital limits. Have used Schneider and Moment auxillary lenses for quite awhile for iPhones when having just one lens. They were a blessing. But now cannot stay up with how good the latest Apple pro phone has become. Also obtained a Moment adapter for the BeastGrip. All worked very well. And still was just not any better than using the 12 lenses. We all had to have these lenses, but seems the Pro technology has made them perhaps obsolete. But it's been great fun.

It works well as a telephoto for distant scenes. It also works well if you need a wider view of something mid field, do not over zoom with the camera as the lens will vignette, Necessary accessory,

The lens comes with the front and rear caps and a black pouch with drawstring.This is 37mm threaded.Also the front is a 48mm. No mention on the box or the Amazon page.I seen this works with my beast grip. Thumbs up. Since i've seen other reviews i'll use in another way for the review.I'm using a GoPro Hero 4 Black with a cage that uses the 37mm thread.Fits perfect. Good Threads. Liked the 2 covers---carry bag---lens cleaner---easy to attach to my Minolta camcorder. Kept the quality of the recordings perfect.

Great lens for the money. The lens screws on perfectly. The pics are stills that I took. The pic is easy to crop and leaves you with a great closeup.

The photo lens are usually glued from multiple lens made of different glass to compensate for chromatic aberrations. This on is a simple lens with a rainbow around all edges in the image. Not really useable. Do not buy.
