I first bought this slicer back in 1997! I used it almost every day for about 15 years, and the blades stayed sharp all that time. The plastic got a little damaged, so I bought a new version. My sister loved it so much that she took it from me, so I purchased another one for myself, and I’m very happy with it. Over the years, the quality of this slicer hasn’t gotten worse at all, only better and more convenient with each new version. I do have electric appliances, but sometimes it’s faster and easier to use this slicer. Highly recommend! 🌟

This is my third Borner mandoline in 30+ years; the first one wore out, I gave to second one to a friend after having it for years. He uses it regularly. I guess I just wanted a red one. They are oh-so-sharp and easy to use and maintain. Buy it and be amazed at how easy it is to slice, chop and dice.

I like

I love using this to dice onions. No tears and it slices them in fine pieces. You do have to make a horizontal cut across the slices to get a finer chop. But I am very pleased with this purchase and use it almost daily.

I've had one of these for several years and purhased 3 as Christmas gifts for my daughters.

This is the most complicated vegetable chopper I’ve used. It has very limited functionality—you can really only slice vegetables. It’s heavy, difficult to assemble and disassemble, and not user-friendly at all. The first one I purchased arrived completely broken, so I gave it another chance and ordered a replacement, but it still wasn’t worth it. For the price, this product is extremely overpriced. There are much better vegetable choppers available that are easier to use and more effective. I do not recommend this product.

Degelijk systeem, 3de apparaat op 45 jaar. Op de juiste manier gebruiken dan is het veilig. Oerdegelijk.

Happy with product, Takes a little practice but fairly easy to get used to. The blade is very sharp so keep your fingers clear!. A box or container for storage would have been nice.

I've been using Börner Slicer since 80's when I bought first one. After over 30 years of using I decided to buy a new one as previous one at last started to losing its sharpness. And believe me I am frequent user as my family always have fresh vegetables for diner and with this slicer its really easy to prepare everything in a minute. Cabbage, carrot, parsnip, tomato and potato are easy to dice or slice doesn't matter how tough they are. The price however could be a little bit lower but if you like to prepare own meals instead of eating ready ones it's worth it.
