The Safest Way To Burn™The Small Pyro Cage™ is the ultimate solution for burning yard debris, card board boxes, and sensitive documents. A superior alternative to dangerous loose piles or unsightly old burn barrels, the Pyro Cage™ is engineered to provide excellent airflow for hotter flames and more thorough burns. The Small Pyro Cage™ also makes a perfect portable camp fire pit that easily travels to the backyard, beach, or lake house. The generous size easily accommodates firewood up to 21" long. The removable lid contains flying embers during burns and helps prevent flames from reaching too high. The included base provides even more airflow by elevating the fuel 4" above the ground allowing the integrated air vents to feed the fire for hotter and longer burns. The steel base provides some protection to the ground below from the extreme temperatures and makes for easier cleanup by collecting ash after the fire has died. Strong, extremely heavy duty, safer fires
This fire cage is great! Especially for the price! The steel is super thick. Fair warning, I'm not super strong, but I had to use a hand cart to move the entire package, I accidentally had it delivered to the house I was moving from, and had to wrangle it onto the hand cart to get it to my SUV. I then had to open it, to lift it into the rear.I was concerned about it being too small, but after finding out how heavy it is, I know I would have never managed to carry or assemble it by myself had I gone one size up. I mainly use it to burn cardboard boxes and personal papers, but can't wait to use it as a fire pit.The cover is great! Even on a zero wind day, the fire's vortex will cause ash to fly out, and with my property being mostly wooded, I am so glad to have the cover. I wish I would have gotten a pry bar to lift the cover to add things to the fire as it is burning, but manage well enough by setting the cover at an angle to add small things to the fire, when needed.Yes, the sides to warp when hot, however I've somehow managed to turn it enough between fires to get the sides to straighten themselves out by burning the hottest items along the opposite wall from the warped side. I've only used this a handful of times, but so far, this has kept the sides mostly straight overall. I honestly don't know if a steel burn cage could be constructed that wouldn't warp with the temps that this gets up to.I haven't used the bottom part yet. My property has large rocks and pieces of natural limestone in the yard, and I found one piece of limestone that was the perfect size to act as the base of my fire pit. So far, the ash is piling up a bit, but I break it down with a limb, and that keeps the debris down overall. This is perfect for my needs, and is a manageable size for a single person to handle without much hardship.

Heavy duty fire box.
Product works great, set up is fairly easy (except that one leg piece that slides out as you put the bottom inside the walls, just put the bottom together and slide the walls around it, much easier). I use mine for tree trimmings and such out on the yard. With the lid on, it seems more like an incinerator than a fire pit with airflow coming in through the perforations. It produces enough heat for cooking on heavy cast iron placed directly on the top grate. More importantly, I did not have to hire someone to haul tree trimming and yard waste away. Now after a day of yardwork (or snow shoveling, I bought this months ago) I can relax by a fire.

A must buy. Beautiful workmanship
I bought the bad idea a couple of years ago and just now, i was able to build a fire pit to show it off. Its heavy and sturdy when assembled. My home is its permanent place for it. Its heavy and it would be difficult to take this camping but I definitely could. I cant wait to invite some friends to admire its beauty.

It's fantastic but has some issues.
The sidewalls were thinner than I hoped, and there is a lot of warping during a burn. The feet are annoying and fall out easily. However, it still works well, and I can pack it flat (perfect for car travel). That alone makes this product worth the money. Add in that the wood burns way better in the pit than without it, and the top doubles as a grill surface, and you have a real winner.

Very sturdy and strong product
Very sturdy and strong product. However, I give it four stars because it is VERY heavy and not very portable.

Pyro Cage
Good for use as a fire pit. Not very useful as a trash incinerator .
