The best pens for free flowing fast writing, either lettering or cursive. The 0.7 mm is preferable for cursive, rather than smaller tips. The rubberized grip is a great improvement over the Uniball One, which is all plastic, which may be great only for lettering, or precise writing or annotations. The zento ink is marvelous. The black is rich, dark, and also looks great. I will explore the blue ink as well. Coming from a Pentel EnergelX with needle tip, which i don't mind for cursive, this is far more confidence inspiring, in small part due to the 0.7 mm (*i had the 0.5 mm with pentel) but also the phenomenal ink, the precise nature of the flow of the roller-ball, and smooth feedback which is consistent from the page.

These pens are amazing. They are perfectly inky but magically do not smudge, even directly after writing. I also like how thick the body of the pens are - they are more comfortable to grip and I can write far longer than with thinner pens. I can't speak to longevity yet but so far these immediately became my favorite pens for journaling.

I'm very particular about my pens and these are great! They write very smooth and don't smear. The ink is bold and looks good. I would definitely purchase again.

I really love these pens. The ink flow is incredibly smooth, and the minimalist design looks great. While it maintains the high ink quality you expect from uni-ball, these pens dry much faster and smudge significantly less than others, making them ideal for writing in planners or notebooks. I also really like the design of the clip. If I had one request, I would love the option to buy a pack in a single color. I personally prefer the "boring" look of just all-white or all-black barrels rather than a color assortment. Overall, these are fantastic, high-quality pens.

It’s a pretty good pen, officially a favorite of mine, an improvement in writing experience compared to Uni Ball’s One ink, less skipping and the flow is much nicer. Ink is less pigmented so it shows up as a dark gray and it dries slower than the One- especially on the all popular Tomoe River Paper. It’s like a more flexible & bleed resistant version of my favorite pen- the Zebra Sarasa Dry (also in 0.7mm). The shadowing on thinner paper (think 100gsm and lower) is pretty intense but a smaller tip will minimize this, go for 0.5mm if that’s a concern. The biggest flaw though? This pen completely rejects textured paper. I’ve never seen a gel pen feather so bad. The paper was only the lightly textured at that. Also haven’t seen any ink refills in this tip size sadly, only in 0.5 and 0.38mm sizes.

The pen is amazing for multiple reasons: the quality is great, it doesn't feel cheaply made nor easily breakable, the barrel of the pen feels smooth with its rubber grip, the ink dispersion is appropriate, and the pen strokes never stop or pause because it never skips or looses ink during a writing session. The size of the pen strokes state it's 0.7mm although I feel like it's actually a little thicker than that but I can't say it would be an issue for anyone that makes this purchase. As of matter of fact, if you write slower then you would actually see the more thicker lines than compared to writing quickly. For what the pen is, and what it offers, it's a 10/10 pen for it's category which I would rate highly among those similar to this pen. So please don't be like Ms.Kistler and rate this 4/5 because you "--personally prefer a slightly thicker tip--". If you like a nice, quality pen for an affordable price, get the Uniball Zento series.

A wonderful writing experience even with the basic model zento. Smooth as silk and very satisfying if you have the click fetish. One caveat, if you have pets don’t go for the basic with the silicon body, upgrade to the Zento Flow with the anodized aluminum body. The silicon attracts pet hair and doesn’t let it go.

I love uni-ball pens. They write so smoothly, they always have a nice aesthetic. I love how they fit in my journal pen loops and they always nice colors. This 4 pack was a good price. They last a long time and you can get refills for most of their models. I love the click action and how easy they are to throw in a bag and go.

This is one of the best pens I’ve ever used. It has bright ink and smooth tips that glide through paper effortlessly.

This has got to be one of the best pens I have used for writing. The shape is simple yet comfortable. The clip seems strong and unlikely to break. The writing is ever so smooth, almost zero friction of ink on paper. Excellent value for this four pack. Note that all pens write in black ink. I wouldn't usually write a review for a pen, but these are exceptional. You will not be disappointed.
