Good quality, affordable and tasty beans, used for filter, produce a smooth cup. Ordered in a pinch between usual subscription.

Good coffee
I bought a 227 g packet of the Breakfast blend coffee and liked it, liked the light roast and sharp flavour. Subsequently, bought a 1 kg packet but was disappointed to find it was not in a resealable bag, despite the description, "Freshly roasted in the UK in resealable bags - great taste and great value." after a few email exchanges with customer service, they refunded me a discount, which was very good of them. I overcame the problem of resealing the packet with elastic bands (see photo), not ideal but quite practicable.

REALLY good, I was on a subscription previously for a different brand that was atleast 50% more expensive, these taste the same quality and just as good. Seriously some of the best coffee I've had

It Could Make Me A Coffee Drinker
I am a dedicated unrepentant Tea Drinker and will be forevermore. I bought a Coffee Machine for my late mother who loved her coffee, since her demise it sat for a long time until I decided to get the good out of it. I have tried different blends from the Amazon menu and found even those listed as mild to be too strong for my tea drinking pallet. Thgis stuff is really pleasant and truly mild, no harsh aftertaste lingering all day. I'm really enjoying it, even at the strong level on the machine. I'll always be a tea man, but this stuff will be on the shelf for a change when I want one. I was thinking of giving my coffee machine away but now its staying.

To tell the truth, I've only given 3 stars as I didn't use them are all. I'd bought a few different types and strength of beans and fell in love with one that had a strength of 5. As this was a breakfast coffee and a strength of 1, I knew I wouldn't really enjoy it. I didn't open the bag and gave it to a friend. I don't know if she has tried it yet

Decent everyday coffee
This isn't the very best coffee I've ever had, but I buy it regularly because it's pretty good and very consistent. And quite good value. I make a V60 every morning and I always enjoy it. It's a bit more than good enough. If I want something special I'll occasionally buy from my local roaster and you can tell the difference but of course the price is double or more the price of this from Brown Bear.
