Excellent product helped immensely post surgery. Substantial, comfortable and allows flexible configurations. Allow enough time for it to arrive so you have it as soon as you need it. Found it to be a great value when compared to a lesser priced popular choice which I had to order initially due to faster delivery. On final day of 7-day head down. Good luck.

I had to get use to this product due to the healing requirements( laying on my stomach 85% of a day every day for 4 - 6 weeks) after eye surgery but it is helping with that process. I found that you can adjust the velcro straps between the 2 sections to raise or lower the angle and depending if you are a hot or cold sleeper use the side which best suit you. Also you can use the sections separately to try different resting positions to help with sore and or stiff neck muscles and i'm sure this product could be used for other issues . The one thing i would have like to see is a choice in the size of the face opening as not everyone has the same head diameter and depending on whether you are a child or adult but that aside this product has and is helping me with healing and it beats having multiple pillows to try to get comfortable and stay in a stable position which is a post surgery requirement.

No funny smells. Soft cover (gray side). Comfortable foam fill. If you are buying this for eye surgery recovery you should get it early and practice sleeping on it before surgery. It took me 3 nights before I could fall asleep easily. Plenty of airflow. Opening is a little small for me and it put pressure on my chin. Was able to get around that by sliding it down so my forehead was higher on the pillow. Thats the only issue I've had.
